This is my second time I've had something done from Dr Rick Smith and his office staff. I've always been treated with the utmost respect. Friendly warm people that really care about you. I feel good going there and I trust them 100%. I would recommend them to anyone.

I went to Dr. R Smith for blepharoplasty surgery. I was a young looking 46 year old that just needed the extra lid skin removed. I thought my lower eye area was fine. He talked me into a brow lift saying it would fix my upper eyelids and a mid-face suspension with lower bleph even though my skin was not sagging at all. Well, my lower eyelids are now crooked and on one eye he completely took out the lash line making that eye smaller. In the mid-face surgery, he put neoprene under my cheekbone area and my body rejected it. I had two hard peach pit size lumps on my face that were extremely painful. I begged him to remove them and he said I was "paranoid" and made me wait a year to remove only one that had hardened into a knot. To this day 11 years later if I brush my hand upward on my cheek it feels like I'm getting an electrical shock. After all this I still had the sagging eyelid problem which he said he would be happy to do the surgery in a year or so........No Thank You!

I met with Dr smith to go over a surgery plan we had made. I had a few more questions, but according to him getting second opinions and finding the best technique to fix my nasal collapse “is wrong” and “proves I have no confidence”. He was extremely arrogant and stood in my way of the door as I was trying to leave after telling me “I don’t know what to tell you, I can’t help you”. Then told me he was canceling my surgery because he would be the next doctor I blame for being traumatized. I see other reviews now that he tells patients they need therapy. He needs to get his big man ego in check. Absolutely ridiculous.
