List of Yousif Rafid H's Reviews
The best!
Dr. Yousif got me through a frightening bout of prostate cancer with a perfect surgical outcome. As a physician who has sent hundreds of patients to him over the years, I found myself needing his expertise. I reviewed his detailed operative note after my surgery, and I was amazed at the complexity of the procedure, which he performed flawlessly. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Yousif and his excellent staff, including his NP Carissa Camp.
My family doctor recommended Dr. Yousif after I had reports that I may have prostate cancer. The results of the tests confirmed cancer. I am now getting treatment. I am very happy with the professionalism of Dr. Yousif and his staff and recommend him very highly.
Dr. Yousif is a great Doctor. Takes time to explain and answer questions. He treated me in the Hospital for a large Kidney stone and also did several prostrate by-opsy and his work was very good. Also Staff and P.A.'S are great.
Less than satisfactory
I have seen Dr Yousif and staff many times over the years and they have always been attentive at taking care of any issues and follow up care was excellent. Thank you for all you have done.
Dr. Yousif has proven that he cares about me as a friend and patient. He has saved my life on multiple occasions. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for the remarkable doctor he is.
Dr. Yousif has followed my prostate cancer for 3 years (active monitoring) --ultimately leading to a full prostatectomy in Dec 2020. The skill and care provided by him and his whole team (Dr. Kazmers, radiology, PA, office staff, etc.) were great. I am doing great and am appreciative of the whole team's efforts.
While I felt I got good care from Dr. Yousif some years ago, a time came when I needed surgery to remove my bladder. He proposed a traditional approach and invited me to seek a second opinion. Ultimately, I elected robotic surgery with a smaller incision and shorter recovery time at the Cleveland Clinic. Years later, my nephrologist recommended that I see a local urologist as I had bilateral nephrosis. I saw a NP in the Lansing Institute of Urology office who indicated that I might be a candidate for stints to relieve the pressure in my kidneys but that she would need to consult with the doctor (who was out of the office that week). After not hearing anything for two weeks, I called the office and was informed by the triage nurse that the doctor said I would need to go back to Cleveland Clinic since that's where I had the surgery. It felt very much like the doctor (Yousif?) had "blown me off" because I had not elected to have surgery with him three or four years ago. I did not understand the relevance of this refusal to treat my current condition.
Had a TURP on October 3, 2019

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
