Dr. Simpson is one of the most horrible doctors I have ever met with. His bedside manner was an embarrassment and he was not only abrupt, oppositional, and impatient, but he was very rough in his physical testing with a patient that has severe back injuries. He had an ego and was a disgrace to a very reputable hospital. He seemed more interested pushing pills, than he was with actually finding a medical solution. Additionally, his diagnosis was incorrect and it was a direct result of his lack of interest.

Perhaps he is the best doctor in the country with Muscular Dystrophy. He is a great listener and wonderful man. He takes the time to do everything right and he makes you feel like you are the most important person. He is a will of knowledge and he is as helpful as any doctor I have ever seen

Be wary. He discouraged my mom from going to Mayo Clinic for a 2nd opinion. He said he trained at UofM and Mayo (his staff denies this so I dont know what's what) and that they would do nothing different. Thank god we took her. They repeated all of the testing themselves and told us that the original diagnosis was wrong!!! She is so happy and completely pain free today because we went somewhere else. Please think twice if you are seeing any doctor who tries to talk you out of a second opinion. Im begging you from the bottom of my heart!
