I love Dr. Fields. You is a caring physician.

I was disappointed with my visit. My complaint was a possible worsening of a hiatal hernia. The hernia was diagnosed by Dr. Fields in 2020, after she did the EGD. She immediately suggested a colonoscopy, which I did not do. At this visit, in 2022, she completed ignored my complaint, about the hernia, as unlikely. Dr. Fields is awesome. She is ! She tells you what to expect and does follow up calls.

I felt like just another number. Spent less than 10 minutes with the Dr. Won't be returning.

She is the best doctor. She referred me to UofM when she felt she was unable to help Me any further. She was my doctor for 6 years and honestly she is way better than the uofm doctor so I’m planning on switching back. She will give you her pager and actually call back ASAP. She also will call to check in on you. If you write her in MyChart SHE (not an assistant) gets back by the end off the night. At times I would sent her a message and she would call me back instead of writing a message. She is literally the best GI I have ever had. I have Crohn’s disease by the way. She is the best doctor. Here is my experience. I have seen Dr Field in the past and not had a problem, but I also work in the medical field and know staff is a reflection of the doctor. My PCP wanted me to get a stat EGD and CT SCAN for some serious issues im having. I had no problem scheduling the CT SCAN but the EGD..I called first thing Monday morning. I was transferred to Janetta's voicemail. I left her a message with my information, it said her name on the voicemail so it was hers, it said will call you back in 24/48 hours. I heard nothing. I called Tuesday at the end of the day to check in and was told I should give it another day we hadn't reached the 48 hours. SO, I called Wednesday again, got Janetta's voicemail saying leave a message Ill call back in 24/48 hours, I again left all my information. In this time my PCP has called me twice asking if I have this scheduled. Now its the end of the day Thursday. I call to see if I can see a different doctor here who has a different scheduler. I was told a message would have to go to the doctor to see if thats possible. I again expressed my doctors concern to have this test ASAP. So, I asked the lady that took my call after explaining my situation, could she send the message to the Dr and ask her to have Janetta call me. The rep put me on hold and TALKED TO JANETTA, who couldn't again take my call and said I talked to Janetta and she said you never left a message....??? Well I did and why can't she take my call now? Very unprofesssional and a bad look for Dr. Fields, who I liked. Now I have to find a new practice and wait as a new patient, for an urgent matter. This staff really lacks in patient care. I am a new patient under Dr Fields care and I must say she is a very good doctor that I highly recommend. She took the time to listen to all of my symptoms and what brought me to her, got me in to a fast testing , and let me know the findings in detail and her plan of action to help bring me back to health. Quality Doctor.

Dr. Fields is patient and thorough. She explains details until they’re understood. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Fields for over 10 yrs. I’m satisfied with the medical experience I received. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fields to family and friends.

Dr. Fields is very thorough and has been performing my colonoscopies' for the past 10 years. She discovered a very small mass in my sister which was later diagnosed as rectal cancer. The Oncologist was amazed she found the mass because it was so small and the area it was located. being part of a family with a history of colon cancer we have all trusted Dr. Fields with our care. My sister had a successful surgery, no chemo or radiation needed and has been cancer free for the past 11 years.
