List of Dr Marc Piper's Reviews
Plan on spending a lot of time and effort compared to any other doctor. When I signed in for office visit two other patients had same appointment time. How do I know? Because the sign in sheet with all patient names is available for all to see. And was I surprised I had a 1.5 hour wait time when the doc triple books? Not surprised but very aggravated. Anyway, i had two schedule a procedure. Office staff said that would take an hour. So I asked them to call me when they had time. Two weeks later they called me and I scheduled the procedure. Two week later they called to reschedule because doc changed vacation plans. Then two weeks before procedure they called again to reschedule again. So as long as your have no time constraints and unlimited time to spare, you might like this doc. But if you have a job, a family or a life, go somewhere else. Dr. Piper has an incredible talent of making every appointment seem of top priority. He is never rushed, always asks questions, always makes time to listen to my concerns. He is a brilliant and sensitive physician that I would proudly send my entire family to.
My experience with Dr. Piper was incredibly traumatizing. I paid over $1,000 for the initial consultation and flew to Florida from Virginia, then was corralled around the office all day long, sat in rooms watching informational videos that were completely irrelevant to my issue, and didn't actually get to sit down and talk to him until an hour before closing. My mom and I were there from 7am to 9pm and didn't actually get to see dr. Piper until 8pm. Throughout the day, nothing about the tests they ran were explained to us and none of our questions were answered. As someone with severe tmj and chronic illness, by the end of the day I was in so much pain and exhausted and confused. Dr. Piper clearly wanted to just get us out of there and was belittling and rude when we asked questions about his treatment plan. We were given a completely fatalistic answer, told that I would need to get a $50,000 fat graft survey as soon as possible or risk severe deterioration of my disks in my jaw joint. This was framed as my only option for for relief, which was devastating. He refused to hear or answer any questions about risks of his surgery. Also told me that my facial structure was abnormal which triggered some body dysmorphia for me. Seek tmj treatment elsewhere. Don't put your trust in someone who lacks patience and listening skills. I can't imagine going through such an intense and traumatic surgery and then dealing with such an asshole post op. There are many other less invasive options and providers who aren't complete money hungry narcissists.

Marc is a great guy and a great doctor. I was having trouble swallowing and was really worried about cancer. He first said it was going to be 2 weeks to get in for an endoscopy and quickly realized I was really worried about it. He then goes, you know what my father scopes here tomorrow we're going to squeeze you in. I was the last patient to go in and I'd have waited all night lol His father was just as caring as Marc, great guys they'll b my docs for life, also no cancer💪😁 Marc is a great guy and a great doctor. Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
