Dr. Gamarra was very attentive. Our oncologist chose him and we were pleasantly surprised to find we felt comfortable and relaxed upon meeting him. He is humble, is a good and patient listener, ensured we understood everything he explained and went over prior to my wife's endoscopy procedure. And the way he addressed his findings and impression post-endoscopy was impressive. Even when he entered the waiting he noticed another woman sitting, and instead of giving me a report there where the other woman could potentially listen, he politely asked to take a walk with me to update me on my wife's status, ensuring he maintained professionalism. Overall I would definitely recommend him.

I went for a routine colonoscopy, had 1 big polyp. Dr. Gamarra diagnosed it in a timely manner as it was cancerous. He even called me after hours to discuss how WE should proceed. He stated the information being provide me would be the same suggestions he would give his mother, wife, sister or daughter. I felt very at ease and trusted his judgment and am cancer free for 5 years now.

My mother has been with Dr. Gamarra for nearly five years now. I love his professionalism, excellent bedside manner, and the fact that he's done so much for her. I recommend Dr. Gamarra to everyone with GI issues, but if you're suffering from difficult-to-treat inflammatory bowel disease, he is your go-to doctor.
