Dr. Goldmeier is an excellent dr. He is knowledgeable and friendly while remaining professional. My husband and I, and our children have been his patients for over 20 years. I hope he never retires… it would be very difficult to find another dr as good as he is. God bless Dr. Goldmeier.

A few years back my husband and I found Dr. Goldmeier by calling all local GI's for the soonest appointment we could get. We ended up with Dr. Goldmeier. He was able to help my husband through a terrible time in identifying his abdominal pain. Because we appreciated his help so much I decided to go to him when I was having some GI issues. Between my me and my husband Dr. Goldmeier has done colonoscopies, upper gi scope, pill study, CT's. Also, mid-way through my husbands journey we found out his mom also see's goldmeier and we didn't even know! Only negative, is the colonoscopy scheduler that I dealt with earlier this year, is not easy to work with. Front office staff, billing and regular appointment scheduling has been great.

I don't like doing this, I have been a patient, along with my husband and son, for over 20 years. I have always liked Dr. Goldmeier.....however, when you have a painful ongoing intestinal problem and need to speak to your dr, and he chooses not to respond..... what good is that doctor? I called the office 7 times. You read that right. Messages were left for both him & Dr. Levinson bc initially Goldmeier was out of town. He came back...... Neither one called me. I found Dr. Goldmeier on FB and left a PM, told him I was trying to get him; he said that when the office called me back (they didn't) I told them I was better. That did not happen, and I was not better. I told him; there was no response. When I spoke to the office the next day, I told them I was no longer a patient. They asked what I wanted to tell Dr. Goldmeier. I said that I am no longer a patient, and I am very disappointed. ......... Again, no response. How does a good doctor ignore his sick patient when she just needs to speak with him? How does a good doctor, a caring doctor.....not call after all this? Miscommunication, whatever the reason....... just say: "I am so sorry for what has happened......now tell me what is going on, let me help you." I am so surprised, so very disappointed.

This review is not about the doctors but the individual answering the phone in their billing department June 14 2021 around 8 am. I was looking for billing assistance and provided a recommendation but the lady said that was not in her job description to look into the recommendation. I believe the lady's name started with a V. This type of response is unacceptable. I hope you look into this and teach her some customer service.

If I could give zero stars I would. This dr sucks at communication and is not thorough.

I had bloodwork done and when I asked Dr . Goldmeier about the results, he told me to call my primary doctor. When I called my primary doctor, he told me to call Goldmeier. Virtually no communication with this doctor. I will find someone else. It’s been two weeks, and I still do not know the results!

I dont usually write reviews . But I had to write one because of our experience. My wife was having issues with stomach pain related to constipation and it is very random . It is related to IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) . I completely understand that IBS is very hard to treat and requires a lot of diagnosis before cause can be found. But we felt he has only been treating the IBS symptoms and not the cause . The stomach pain goes away and it come back again the next year . I was very disappointed when my wife was not even asked questions about diet, bowel movements or any further elimination tests to find the cause . Just a fancy tablet to treat IBS-C symptoms and cannot be used as a permanent solution.

Diagnosed me with H Pylori, but did not tell me that it was a risk factor for cancer, nor was he responsive when my conditions became worse.

Over the past 13 years, I've seen Dr. Goldmeier for various GI problems. He's great. He seems to actually care about his patients and their health rather than money. His staff is also wonderful. I've spoken mostly with Beth but all the staff members I've interacted with have been responsive, helpful and kind.
