List of MIchael Kalata's Reviews
Horrible. My Mom called the office because her BP was very low (she was dizzy and not feeling well). Dr. Kalata called back when she had and issue with her phone (I was there when he called, she could not get the call). There was no attempt to call her back - either the doctor or his staff. She also is a new patient - pervious U of M cardiologist told her that she needs to submit her pacemaker data monthly as it was nearing the end of the battery life. She told Dr. Kalata this on her first visit. He set her up for a three month data transmit! Mom has since found a new doctor and it turns out the battery in her pacemaker is dead! Unreal -
Compassionate, caring, skilled and great communicator. He is my own general practice doctor's doctor.
Smart with great bedside manors.
Awesome doctor! Truely cares for his patients.
Dr. Kalata is so kind and sincere. He always makes me feel comfortable and he takes all my concerns seriously and without judgment. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Kalata has been excellent in communications, clarity, and thoroughness. He answers all questions and spends the time with each patient to ensure their understanding.
Very kind, compasionate dr., he does pay attention, is listening and will take the time to answer your questions or address your concerns.
Very nice, very thorough, easy to converse with, listens to your concerns.
Don't expect to get in quickly if you're not dying. I booked an appointment for 6 weeks out, which is fine. Well, when the week came that I was supposed to see him, I had an emergency and had no choice but to reschedule. The very rude receptionist told me I have to wait yet another 4 to 6 weeks to see him. I'm sorry but they obviously do not value their patients time if they're going to make me wait 10 weeks to see him. 10 weeks is ridiculous.
Terrible

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
