List of Gary M. Keoleian's Reviews
Dr Keoleian is excellent, he asks questions, takes the time to answer questions thoroughly, is pleasant and professional. The staff are kind, caring and efficient. The whole exam process goes very smoothly, even if i DON'T like having my pupils dilated. lol! I would recommend this Dr and his staff to anyone needing specialized eye care, due to underlying health conditions.
This is truly no one better at focused attention to customer care and satisfaction than Dr. Gary Mark Keoleian. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone but him. He is the very best and I promise you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Keoleian performed cataract surgery on my eyes recently and my vision is so much worse, with blurred vision and my distance , which I never had a problem with is bad. When I went back to see him many times, he’s answer was that is the past , this is the future. I’m going to see another doctor and hope I can get some answers.
I never got a chance to see the Doc. I arrived 15 min early WITH THE PAPERWORK THEIR OFFICE SENT ME TO FILL OUT. They said they had no record of my appointment. I showed the receptionist the completed FORMS THEY SENT ME to fill out. Suddenly I was found but no appointment was listed. I took the day off from work for this appointment. They sent a confirmation letter to my house WITH THE FORMS! The receptionist said she could schedule me for another day…. Really??? Not to be rude, but if I can’t trust a business to get an appointment right then why the heck would I trust them with my eyesight. Not that the receptionist would be the one doing the examination, but come on… Sorry the review showed up under your name Doc, but there wasn’t an option for a review of the office staff and on the phone the receptionist said she scheduled me to see you. Had to say something, lost a days work.
While I never specifically actually spoke to you regarding the mixup for my prep for my procedure yesterday, I was told I would have to reschedule by your staff. I was looking forward to my cataract surgery for well over a month as my vision continued to deteriorate. I wasn't made aware of the mixup until your staff had completely checked me in and had me in a bed in the pre-op area. Originally they offered me to be seen at 4pm but then after I arranged a ride they withdrew the offer. The scheduler was not available for me to speak with and still has not returned my calls. I've also sent an email to fixit@ your clinic without a response either. During the 30 days I needed to wait for this surgery I fell off the steps of my home and broke my toe because my deteriorating eyesight has made navigating in low lighted situations difficult to nearly impossible. During the pre-op intake with the nurse I was also given contradictory information about what I should expect for outcome that was different than what you previously told me when id met directly with you. Given this as only one example, I am not surprised I was confused about the prep as well! Although I didn't directly deal with you yesterday, I feel your staff ultimately reports to you. Having been denied the treatment I've waited a month for; I don't think it was unreasonable to expect that your scheduler return my phone calls especially, after they reneged on the offer of moving my procedure to later in the afternoon. I arrived 45 minutes early for my procedure and waited until 45 minutes after my scheduled time to even get back to the pre-op area. I was then checked into a bed with vitals taken and my eye marked for the procedure before I was ever told that their had been confusion with prep instructions. I couldn't help but wonder after this experience if I'd made a mistake at all because clearly my removal from the day allowed you time to catch up with your late schedule. At any rate, I am still without communication or the benefits of the procedure and the lack of communication and confusion leads me to believe my only remedy is to look elsewhere to have my cataract procedure. Luckily for me, these laser procedures have become competitive and common. I'm sorry that I can only give you one star as my interactions with you were pleasant but, not with your staff. I will be requesting the records so that I don't need to entirely start over elsewhere and can have my lenses replaced by someone similarly qualified with a more organized and communicative office. The only constructive suggestion I can make after this experience, is that your office might benefit due to its size from a corporate anthropologist who can assess and make suggestions on how your staff can communicate more effectively with not only each other but your customers as well! Clearly, while I found your manners impeccable and on point, some of your staff was contradictory in not only instructions but outcome expectations as well! Further, while your nurse offered your services to be rescheduled to 4 the same day, your reception staff overrode that and not only denied me service but your scheduler has yet to return even my repeated phone calls!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
