Dr, Raj is our cardiologist. I am a doctor who lives in Detroit, yet for all my cardiology needs I travel 80 miles away in to Flint and trust Dr. Raj with it. In my 44 years in medicine, in which I have met thousands of doctors and dozens of cardiologists, Dr. Raj. to me stands apart from all of them. He cares as much as any healing professional can care for his client. He always greets you with the most friendly and caring voice imaginable. Always asks questions in the softest tone yet with full determination to know your problem to its very depth in order to give you the very best of treatment. He never cuts corners, gives you as much time as your problem deserves, takes leave of you in the politest manner possible and leaves you assured that if any need arises he will be there to help you to the best of his ability. Dr. Raj's cardiological judgment is par excellence. When my brother was stranded in a hospital in London, waylaid because of suddenly emerging cardiology emergency, and the London doctors were forcing us for him to go for bypass surgery, Dr. Raj saw his EKG that was faxed to him transatlantically and he said there is 95% block in Left Anterior Descending artery, 75 percent block in posterior circumflex artery, not to do bypass but to bring him to Cleveland Clinic and have Dr. Eric Toppel do angioplasty. Dr. Toppel did the procedure, found the blocks exactly as Dr. Raj had predicted from a poorly faxed EKG, and did the angioplasty. My brother is still alive 28 years later. With Dr. Raj you do not just feel that you are dealing with a most wonderful caring physician but with a brother who has your best interest in his heart.

Dr. Raj is the epitome of a healthcare professional. He exhibits exemplary care to his patients. He has this soft and calming tone when talking with [not to] his patients. I have heart disease and a SCA survivor. Instead of rushing through my office visits ... I remember many times when Dr. Raj takes the time to draw a diagram of what is happening to my heart and explained it to me in layman terms. His patients ALWAYS comes first.

Dr. Raj is always great with my 94 year old dad. Dad has congestive heart failure. Dr. Raj monitors his medications very closely. He answered any questions we may have patiently. He's very kind and attentive.

Unbelievable how TERRIBLE the office staff is here, from the doctor , all the way threw to the girl that takes your money. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR, they treat you like cattle at this place. I'm 60 years old and have never written a review before, but I felt people need to know about this place.

Went here for 3yrs for cardio vascular disease. CT showed 95% blockage but had to wait 6 weeks to speak with Raj about test. He should have admitted me immediately but instead told me to go to the hospital if I have any problems. 2 weeks later got a stent but not at his admission. After 3 yrs seems this could have been taken care of. Nearly died. I will never go back!

Did nothing to help my mother but sent her home on meds when she was plugged up and had to find another doctor in Detroit to help. We requested that her records be sent and his office wouldnt even do that after more than one request.

Seems to be too quick at times., otherwise a good doctor

After a long life threatening surgery, my discharge instructions were to follow up with my cardiologist. When I called the office for my one week follow up visit I was told that I could not get in for over a month. Thank goodness for a caring surgeon who follow me through those first few weeks at home and monitored my Coumandin. What did that office think I was going to do? I was really disappointed in the way I was just blown off. Especially since I live 25 miles from the Hospital, I really needed a doctor to monitor my progress. Maybe he has too many patients.

i am a new patient to dr raj and he is friendly and very knowledgeable and his staff is just as efficient.

My husband just had a heart attack and two stents put in. Dr. Raj is very caring and willing to take as long as you need to have all your questions answered. My husband is still here because of Dr. Raj and everyone at McLaren, Flint.
