I would give less than 1 star. To sum it up, he has terrible communication skills and gave me a bad taste in my mouth. Today I went in for a simple physical along with two specific issues I wanted to talk about. This is before I turn 26 and am kicked off of my Dad's insurance next month, so things needed to get done at this appointment. Instead of doing absolutely anything besides tapping my stomach a few times, he grills me on the medications I am taking. I told him that I had an appointment with a psychiatrist on Saturday for it and he keeps pushing me for information. So I told him the name of the organization many times and until I showed him their website he was acting as if I was doctor shopping. In fact, I did not say a single thing about my medication and I told the assistant/nurse what I wanted, but apparently it made no difference. The assistant/nurse was very kind and explained why he could have acted that way very well, but that doesn't excuse Dr. Naqvi from his part. He did no research into it after I kept asking him to call my past psychiatrists. It was extremely disappointing and the more I think about it, the angrier I get. He made me feel attacked and like I could cry after he knew I had anxiety and depression. I will not go back to him and am cancelling my follow-up appointment tomorrow.
Dr. Naqvi has been taking care of my dad for the past four years at the Regency on the lake. I don't say this lightly as I have worked for many great doctors but Dr. Naqvi's empathy and care are above and beyond. He is emotionally connected to his patients as if they were his own family. My dad is my whole world and he is dying of metastatic cancer and Dr. Naqvi has been there every step up the way. He has talked me through my frustrations and all my crazy emotions. I can not express the amount of gratitude I have for him.

Front office staff wearing masks under chins. Noncompliant with CDC directives. Who knows what else they are noncompliant with that you cannot see
Great doctor. Listens to patient concerns.
Excellent knowledge. He takes his time and is not rushed.
Great doctor. Listens to patient concerns. Does not rush in or out. Takes his time with each patient.
Caring, understanding, kind, and careful. He is very thorough and explains the diagnosis clearly and offers all options available and makes very knowledgeable suggestions. I trust him.
Tried to get FMLA forms filled out for two weeks. The papers were for my grandmother whom was dying. The staff gave me the run around and they were very rude and had bad attitude. Because of them I barely made the deadline to turn the forms in. If someone from his office ever read this I just want them to know that being lazy and passing the buck because you don’t feel like doing something is not harmless. It really does effect people.
Went in for extreme tailbone discomfort. Applied pressure to the spot where it hurt without a care in the world for my comfort. Sent me home with ibuprophine saying I probably had a bruised tailbone. I called him the next day because I was selling in that area and I needed something for inflammation. He perscibed more pain meds! I called him once again the following day because I was leaking fluid from the spot that hurt and he said "that was normal". Nope. I went to the hospital that night and I had a cyst that had ruptured and was leaking infection into my body. Had to stay at the hospital for FIVE days to get it taken care of for the infection was so bad, had entered my blood stream, and I had to get it removed. Maybe if he had listened to me in the first place, it wouldn't of had to go that far.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
