In April, I had a total hip replacement on my left leg. Dr Anderson is a wonderful doctor, he is very informative and caring. It took me three years to make the decision to have this surgery, he was able to explain to me exactly what was going on with my hip, and get me on a path to healing and free from excruciating pain. I’m so glad I had this surgery, thank you so much Dr Anderson.🙂

Getting help hear is a joke. You get the runaround of horse apples, jump through hoops, and get blown off for weeks or months. I can’t stress enough to go elsewhere even if it’s a drive it’s worth the respect you will receive. There is absolutely no reason it should take months to get in to see a doctor. Go elsewhere you won’t get Cracker Jack help

Dr. Anderson is genuinely caring and down to earth! He is knowledgeable in his field. He understands his patients. He is very impressive. I'm glad to have chosen him for my care.

I would recommend Bay Street and Rachel Chapko to anyone needing Orthopedic information very informative and listens and cares.

I've been to bay street several times previously, this was the first time I had to ask if there was a issue with my appt.,patients that came in way after my appt. time were taken first, but the Drs. I've seen are very good. Some of the staff were curt, again this was the first time I had a issue! Everybody has bad days once in awhile!😵 if you don't like the services, no one is forcing you to go their, another option.😁 BUT being yawned at while entering my data in the computer was offensive.

I was greeted by name from Ann when I went to register. I've only been to Bay St. 2x this year, so I was delighted she remembered me. My daughter, Katie attended with me to serve as my advocate , taking notes and seeking clarity. Kelly is very friendly, upbeat, and compassionate. Kelly asked how I was doing with my knee and hip. I explained some new pain and neuropathy in my right leg. Kelly explained the probable cause and set up an appt for next week to get exrays and to see her. She spoke about Dr. Anderson, who will be my knee surgeon, his connection to patients and expertise in the field. I have decided Dr. Anderson is the surgeon I wish to have for my knee replacement upon Kelly's reference. Kelly is very personable and knowledgeable about my current state of health, and has set me up for success for the knee replacement. She wants to make sure the meds I'm taking for pain are right for me now and after the knee replacement. I feel very comfortable with the upcoming surgery and after care. Thanks Kelly, Ann & Chelsey. You are all making this health challenge easier!

My only complaint would be my appt was for 2. I got back to the room shortly after the time but didn't see the Dr until about 3:20 with no contact with anyone as to why. The care was excellent but the wait was too long without an further contract from anyone.

Now, it was the time for a new right knee replacement. Dr. Josh Anderson was the perfect recommendation and choice as a sports knee replacement orthopedic surgeon specialist, who is an athlete himself. He is a very personable and compassionate person, who listened to my athletic personality and my desires to keep pursuing my adventures during my retirement years. My new knee and I are adjusting to each other learning to work together for some incredible future adventures together. Thank you, from my heart through my right leg, new knee, ankle, to the bottom of my now flat foot, to Dr. Josh Anderson, MD and incredible staff at Bay Street Orthopedics in Gaylord and Petoskey.
