A huge thank you to Dr. Laura Schumacher and the team at Athletico at Knapp's Corner. When I first started PT, I felt very discouraged about my leg. I had a great deal of pain, tightness and swelling and just walking was difficult. I finished my PT last night and my leg feels great...it's at 99.5%! I know what I need to work on to get back to 100%. Thank you!!!

Becoming a later-in-life runner has many MANY benefits. However, it comes with a few disadvantages. Injury being the worst. Thankfully, Athletico Physical Therapy exists! Having aggravated an old knee injury whilst trail running, I was referred to Laura and Shannon at the Knapp/Beltline office. They were not only supremely knowledgeable, but oh so patient, committed to the effort and incredibly kind. Everything you could ask for in a PT office. It's funny, but I hope NOT to have to see them again! If, in the future, I do ever need physical therapy, Athletico will be my go-to spot! Make it yours, too! Thanks to the team for all of your help and all the knowledge bombs! And "Schu!", good luck getting those pens!

If you need physical therapy, Athletico is the place to go! Parking is right in front of the building. It is open and pleasant inside and all the staff are welcoming and friendly. I am so happy with the therapy I received at Athletico for my shoulder. I worked with Laura who is great! She is very professional with a great sense of humor mixed with respect for me as a client. Laura explained the purpose of each exercise and helped me with my form until I could do them correctly.As I progressed, I began looking forward to going! 😜 I cannot say enough good things about Athletico!

This was an excellent place for Physical Therapy! Very easy to schedule and work with, but encouraged you in the sessions to help you get healthier. I recently had a procedure done on my knee and they helped get me back to 100%! Totally recommend!
