List of Cindy Opolka Md's Reviews
The front desk ladies are far from friendly or personable with patients. The doctor and PA/nurse's are not friendly either. It is the worse doctors office I've ever had the displeasure of being associated with. The entire office and every examination room has non-stop pictures of Caucasians ONLY. There is one picture of an African American boy in the waiting room. It's very off putting. It gives me a sensation of a "whites only" doctors office. I have extreme health issues going on right now and all information from the ER was sent to this office. As soon as all my testing and plan of care is finished, I will be getting a new doctor with a more friendly and accepting environment.
I have been a patient of Dr. Opolka’s for at least 12 yrs or more and have never had a complaint until this year 2021. Recently I had a work injury and needed to have an appointment to see her which it was made but then someone called me later to cancel the appointment because Dr. Opolka doesn’t see her patients with work related injuries. I asked the person who I was talking to what was I suppose to do now and I guess that didn’t sit well with her. Next thing I know I received a letter in the mail telling me I was being discharged for offensive language and hostile behavior during a phone call. So I waited and called a few days later to try and speak to someone. The person who answered the phone was polite until I gave her my info and then she became extremely rude. She refused to let me speak to the office manager or anyone else. Then she had the nerve to hang up the phone in my face. I mean who just accuses someone and assassinate their character without talking to the accused person especially since I probably been a patient longer then this person has worked in the office. These are privileged people! Because I wasn’t no where near what the karen is accusing me of but that’s perfectly fine. Doctors work for the patient! Without patients no doctor! This office is anti black anyway! There hasn’t been in all the years I was a patient any persons who worked there doctor, nurse, medical assistant NO ONE WHO LOOKED LIKE ME!! Even in all the photos hanging every where I can only remember seeing a few faces of brown people. I hope karma visits real soon to whoever it was that lied and tried to assassinated my character. I work for the State of Michigan and have private health insurance so I’m gone. This practice might be good to persons who are not black or brown in color but for us I would not recommend.
Dr. Opolka had the temerity to fire me as a patient Because I had questioned her nurse, and was told the doctor could not return my sick call. It was the best thing that could have happened in my life. Changing Doctors revealed a serious undiagnosed problem for which there were many clues. Dodged a malpractice suit eh doctor o? (No caps on purpose) This office calls themselves a family practice but in fact it is only a family practice in as much as it allows the doctors to completely close shop at 5:00PM so they can all go home to their families. Stay away.
Love Dr. Opolka, have gone to her for years. She is thorough and listens to patients. I highly recommend her. Have transferred kids there also, and have recommended to my employees who also speak highly of her.
Dr. Opolka has excellently cared for my mother for years. We could not ask for a better doctor.
To say “Family Practice “ is an oxymoron this office exists for thefamilies of these doctors, they work bankers hours, an insult to bankers. Dr Opolka is the least responsive clinician I have ever had the misfortune to engage with. She refused to speak with me via phone when I was out of town on a business trip. After much heated debate with her nurse I received a letter from her office firing me as a patient. Best news. She missed all signs of problems ahead. I could be dead now. Leave her.
I saw Dr. Davis when I was having a string of panic attacks. Because of the attacks, it made it very difficult for me to comprehend what she was telling me about some forms. So she waved the forms in my face while she yelled at me. A month later, I called the office and explained what happened and asked if I could switch doctors. She told me they don't allow people to switch. She then asked if I wanted to talk to someone in charge and tell them what had happened. I told her that I just needed some time to think before I made any decisions. A few days later, I received a letter in the mail telling me they had dropped me from their services. If you are considering this place, please, think again!
I have been a patient of Dr. Opolkas for 3 years now and am very happy with her. She always spends a lot of time with me. Every appointment that I have had with her she sits in the chair and has a conversation with me. This is not what I have been accustomed to with my last Dr. She would discuss my issues, quickly , and then send her PA in to finish. I am very happy with Dr. Opolka.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Opolka - she has saved my life in many occasions with her professional skill and kindness.
I have seen both Dr. Opolka and her Pa in her office and have loved both of them. They spent plenty of time and answered all of my questions. There have been two times that I have or my kids have needed same day appointments and they got us right in no problem.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
