I went to the ED at Zeeland Spectrum hospital this evening after falling ans injuring my back. I have been in the ED at Zeeland Spectrum and I have always received outstanding care. Dr Dreschler was no exception. Her supposition was that I may have had one or more spinal fractures because of the nature of my fall. I agreed with Dr Deschler’s opinion based on how I fell and the acute pain of the injuries I sustained. Dr Dreschler ordered pain medicine which offered welcome relief. She did everything right and she had two great nurses, Jen and Laura to care for me. Dr Dreschler ordered a CT scan of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine and she did a great job of managing my pain. Fortunately for me, there are no fractures and Dr Dreschler asked if I felt well enough to go home. She said if I could get around I could leave. The wonderful nurses helped me up and got me moving successfully. When I got back Dr Dreschler discharged me and I got to go home. I am so grateful for the care doctor Dreschler, and nurses Jen and Laura provided me. They are all very knowledgeable, compassionate and caring.
