Watch out for this place the doctors won’t look at your medical history to see if your ok for surgery but will make you go through painful procedures that are unnecessary that could cause you to lose vision then deny you the surgery they hurt my father for money if they tell you it’s necessary try to find a real hospital with a doctor who actually cares about their patient and not about making money off the medical system and hurting people along the way rudest place ever

My son did well during the exam and he was worried he’d need glasses but he doesn’t. All is well. My fiancé was able to get his glasses fixed while there as well.

The service was good. The office was clear and the staff and doctor was great. She explained everything she was doing to my eyes.

I received very good service from Dr Dr Ellenberg. Not only did she advise me that I did it need a contact on my left eye but advised me I could get a note from her to show The Social Security office I no longer needed an extra contact. Great office with very helpful staff.

Good talking with the Dr and nurses with my annual appointment, bad that you have to schedule another appointment to look at glasses. Guess I’ll go somewhere else.

The team at the 4475 Wilson Ave branch of GRO was excellent! All of the administrative and medical staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Dr. Vandenberg in particular was wonderful. She was extremely kind, personable, easy to understand, and patient. Would definitely recommend this branch and Dr. Vandenberg to anyone! I will definitely be returning :)

The service at this place is very quick, friendly, and thorough. Every step of the process I was made to feel comfortable and every person I worked with on the staff was super nice. Having your eyes checked can sometimes be as awkward and uncomfortable as having your teeth worked on, and I didn't feel at all that way at GRO. Dr. Ellen Vandenberg was fantastic! Swift & efficient, but she really listened to my concerns and I felt like she really wanted to make sure I would get the best prescription for my eyes (for both contacts and glasses). And the gal who fitted me for my glasses was so sweet and went above and beyond. I will definitely be back!
