List of Mark Millar Md's Reviews
After years of being in various diets and being told my symptoms were all in my head (up to being accused of having an eating disorder) Dr. Millar actually listened to me and looked at all of my symptoms to provide a path to an actual diagnosis. I wish that I'd found him 20 yrs ago
Dr Millar is very thorough and knowledgeable. The staff here is top notch! I switched from another ENT due to the staff.
Very impressed with the doctor and the staff. Everyone is very helpful and the treatment has greatly reduced my allergy symptoms. I highly recommend Dr. Millar to anyone who is suffering from allergies.
My kids go here and have been for 5 1/2 years. My son was in and out of the hospital every other month with acute asthma attacks and nothing any other doctor had done worked. Dr Millar put him on an acid reducing med and we have had only 2 trips to the ER in 5 years now. It is miracle work by this doctor and he is always very attentive and thorough. My daughter has come here for 4 years now and her asthma is managed well by Dr Millar. While hers is not as bad as her brothers, he has reduced her symptoms to be manageable with appropriate medication. I can call any time day or night and he always calls back with a plan and never makes me question my parenting as their mom and trusts what my judgement is accompanied with his expertise and has always fixed the issues at hand. As a healthcare professional myself I know communication is key and listening to parents makes us feel like we do sometimes know what we’re talking about and we are not crazy. He respects feedback and thoroughly explains treatment plans to me at each visit. We would have no other allergist or asthma specialist but Dr Millar. He’s intelligent and truly knows what’s best for our family. Lora My kids go here and have been for 5 1/2 years. Amazing. We love Dr Millar and his staff!! Patient for 9 years will stay a patient.
Best allergy care in Grand rapids. Fabulous caring staff, top notch service
After seeking an allergist due to episodic breathing problems, I visited this office. I didn't realize how unusual their intake process was (no large packet of paperwork),it makes sense now why the doctor misdiagnosed me with a life threatening peanut allergy that caused me to change my entire life and break traditions for a long 15 months. After revisiting the office to get new testing done, he admitted I was not allergic to peanuts and then misdiagnosed another allergy. I found a new allergist
This is a very caring and understanding practice. Whenever I am sick, they talk to me on the phone or get me in right away. I am always treated with kindness and respect. Went there for general allergy testing, my Peanut allergy was not included in testing results. The doctor lies about the insurance coverage.
I went to Dr. Millar before my wedding due to reoccurring hives I was having after ingesting certain foods. He hardly took any time trying to understand my signs and symptoms. He offered me a quick skin test on the forearms of just the foods I was having trouble with, not the full testing on the back. It would've been nice to have a full panel tested. The nurse felt like some of the spots were raised and reddened, Dr. Millar walked in and said "none of these impress me" and walked out. I paid a specialty co-pay visit for him to tell me that and not even give me guidance. I would not refer anyone to him. He needs to work on his bedside manner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
