Did not have a good experience and I would not recommend this place. Everyone was very uncommunicative and nothing was explained. Dr. Habekovic, if that is the person who did the examination (not 100% sure) seem to not even listen to what I had to say. I felt like I was about ignored. Nothing was explained or elaborated on. This place came recommended by my medical doctor. I should have followed my gut instinct to go to the eye doctor I used to see at Crew & Boss Eye Associates. After having glasses made per the prescription I was given, I had issues seeing at a distance. After dealing with this, I was frustrated. I went to my usual eye doctor. As I suspected, the prescription was incorrect for my distance vision. Dr platz from Crew & Boss was kind, friendly, very helpful, listened and fully explanatory where Habekovic Ophalmology was not. I now had to buy new glasses all over again along with paying for another eye exam. Did not have a good experience and I would not recommend this place. My experience with Dr. Habekovic's office was extremely negative, and I definitely prefer to find a different provider who will be more communicative. The front desk associate was incredibly kind, but Nurse Dickerson (I think that was her name) and the doctor were not. They performed unnecessary tests using dated methods--I did not ask for or need a glaucoma test, and they performed one using the burning droplets rather than the air puff machine. I've never been to an eye doctor that lacked that kind of basic equipment! No one explained why they wanted a bunch of tests I didn't want, or even what their procedure for a new patient even was. I was only there for an OCT test. My questions and confusion were met with a lot of hostility from the nurse that worked with me, and some from the doctor himself. Also the OCT text was performed by the nurse, who did not appear to tell the doctor this. But then the doctor insisted I needed my eyes dilated to get good results. I thought my memory of the test failed me and maybe I hadn't done it it yet. Turns out that yes, that test was already performed, and my eyes were dilated for no reason. I’m not looking forward to the billing for all the unnecessary steps they took. And while I was told I was fine to drive (also stated in a pre-visit letter they sent), it certainly didn't feel that way. My eyes are still extremely blurry and I was barley able to read my GPS or road signs to get home an hour away. As a patient with MS I have worked with many different kinds of health professionals, and I can objectively say this was one of my worst experiences. Had lens implants in both eyes. Excellent doctor. Took great care of me. Very personable.

I don't usually write reviews, but I just visited the new office and want to say how nice it was. The staff is friendly and Judy at the in-house optometry shop is the best. Dr. Habekovic is very thorough and explains things clearly. I'm glad the new office is just down the street from the old one. Easy.

I cannot unreccomend this doctor enough. He was beyond rude - refusing to make eye contact while conversing with me and snapping at me when he said I had perfect vision and I replied my vision is constantly blurry with "I dont know what you want me to say!" I could forgive these as him having a bad day, but every single time I asked what he was about to do to my eyes he didnt answer, just did the test. If you dont like being snapped at, prodded without informed consent and being treated like a child, dont go to this doctor. I cannot unreccomend this doctor enough. Marko is very good and very detailed in his assessments. Would highly recommend him.

One staff member very nice and another not. Dr. Habekovic made me feel like I was in the way. He was not personable; perhaps he was having a bad day. I cannot comment on his expertise as I gained no in depth information from my exam.
