Mercy Health Physicians's Online Review Report Card

My wife and I have more than enough bad things to say about Mercy Health. We went for an ultrasound today, and the tech was rude to us. They had all of the information wrong about the pregnancy, and on top of that performed surgery on my wife while she was pregnant without giving her a pregnancy test. They said that we were pregnant the day after surgery. We confirmed with Grand Rapids that she was two weeks pregnant during surgery. Because getting pregnant immediately after surgery is a thing when it was impossible to happen. Grand Rapids facilities under Spectrum Health are better. A big shame to you Mercy Health. I wish I had more middle fingers to give you!

I was rushed to the OB Emergency Department at 5am in the morning due to severe back left side pain and vomiting which ended in a 3 day hospitalization and two kidney stones removed from my ureter.We were in Grand Rapids for a weekend so we don’t know hospitals here, and I am just very thankful I had my procedure done there. Every single staff member to the doctors who took care of me were truly amazing and caring. My nurses Courtney, Amelie and Lucy were above and beyond taking care of me and my unborn baby. The cleanliness and everything related to the room was good. Also we had a nice window view 🙏🏻

Muskegon should be ashamed. I will no longer go to Muskegon I will go to saint Mary's in GR.

What a joke! The only hospital in town and can’t keep up with demand! Sat for two hours was told it could be 2 more hours. Hear through the grapevine at the ER that several patients had been sitting for more that 8 hours. I will drive to Grand Haven going forward!

I was treated there and have nothing but good things to say. The staff was kind and helpful. I understand the 2 visitor rule is necessary to keep visitors from bringing Covid into the hospital. Ultimately, the hospital is doing what is necessary to keep the patients safe. I have been going to St.Mary's Hospital for my entire life, so have my children and my parents have gone there for treatment, no complaints.

I recently had surgery here and everyone one I came in contact with was simply amazing, caring and knowledgeable. I feel safe, relaxed and wasnt nervous at all before entering surgery. I am very thankful for everyone who made my surgery a success and so many more. You all are much appreciated.

I took my Aunt to the ER department for severe respiratory distress and severe Abdominal pain. All the staff in the ER department were extremely kind and caring. She is slowly but surely recovering.

I had expressed to my physician that It was vital I had this lab work done asap! I had one day to provide it! I provided the lab work during the time frame requested. The lab instead of following protocol. Put the lab work in a freezer which was meant to be room temperature! Your a lab tech how do you do that?! So now my lab work has to be pushed months back due to my schedule at work! This is unacceptable. I will be leaving this hospital for my physician and any other issues in the future. I would highly recommend that no one use this hospital. I would also recommend you look at the fatality rate at this hospital compared to other hospitals in Grand Rapids! This is not a good hospital at all. The more digging you do the more issues you’ll find with this hospital!Notice that at Mary’s doesn’t make things right at all! Then in the reviews section they only acknowledge the positive reviews!!

I just want to shout out to the 3rd floor staff today from 5:30am to about noon. You all are amazing, thank you for being so kind and helpful. I appreciate you all 😊

I had my son at 29 weeks. I had to come from Muskegon. Do to many things. This place is by far the Best. I felt like I was person not just someone who was just a paycheck. From my doctors to the nurses. Made my feelings welcomed. My son is still in NICU there. He has the best care. I wish I could remember all the names of the doctors and nurse that helped me.
