I recently had Spinal Surgery at Blodgett Hosp. in East Grand Rapids. Dr. Berezecky was the 'Team' Anesthesiologist that day. We visited in my pre-op room for some time early that morning. I found him to be very gracious, professional and understanding....with a great sense of humor. He answered all my questions confidently and his 'bed-side ' manner was easy and comforting. No post-op problems with headache or nausea....... It really was one of the "Best" long naps I've ever had.

Although patients typically don't have a huge relationship before and after their surgery, I can't help but feel it's appropriate to compliment this anesthesiologist that I was recently blessed with during a pretty moderate surgery, (2.5hours). He actually sat down at my bedside and asked questions, but more importantly, listened. Post operatively, I was 100% pain free and more importantly 100% nausea free. I'm prone to nausea, even while driving in car. The entire experience was 10 stars!
