List of Peter Macfield Md's Reviews
Dr. Macfield is a very intelligent and thoughtful Dr. He is thorough and also has a great bedside manner. Would definitely recommend him! His staff is also very good.
I've been using Dr. Macfield's office for many years and I always find their handling of me to be professional, kind, and truly caring! I'm always given ample time to discuss my concerns and we work through things together with consideration to both body and lifestyle. I've learned a lot from Dr. Macfield and his staff and I am a better steward of my body thanks to them.
I am very grateful that Dr. Peter Mayfield was recommended to me. He is very caring and kind, very thorough, and allots a surprising amount of time for his appointments. I also greatly appreciate his holistic, integrative approach to care and the way in which he partners with you on health and healing plans-and does not just pull out a prescription pad!
Dr, Macfield is the best family Doctor I have ever had. He takes the time and listens to you and even lets you be involved with all your health care decisions, he is not arrogant, he is kind, caring, thoughtful and is a wonderful Doctor. I do not want to ever have to pick another family Doctor, as he is the best period! I recommend Dr. Macfield to all my family and friends. Thanks Dr. Macfield for being the best family Doctor I have ever had! My prayers go out to you and your family and may God Bless You!
Dr. Macfield’s response to patient advocacy is appalling. I was not scheduled a necessary follow-up for a prescription refill. When the prescription lapsed, my calls were not returned for 3 business days. When I finally reached someone, 3 more days of calls had to ensue and it was a further week before the issue was resolved and my prescription was refilled. At NO point during this debacle was I ever rude to anyone involved, though I did express that I was frustrated and did not understand why I was slipping through the cracks and being ignored time and time again. Their solution was to promptly DROP ME AS A PATIENT WITH NO FURTHER EXPLANATION. I've found Dr. MacField's ego to be quite large as he often spoke over me, did not actually listen to my concerns, and his office continually demonstrated exceptionally poor patient care with last minute cancellations, countless unreturned emails/phone calls, etc. Instead of working w/ the patient, the solution was drop the patient. Horrible.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Macfield. He LISTENS, is attentive, thorough, genuine, caring etc etc. he is by far the most intentional internal medicine doctor I have had to date. I think one thing that sets Dr Peter apart from others is he first focuses on mental health, and not a clinical diagnosis, just “how are you feeling?” Mental health is the most important part of our health and so quickly overlooked. i am a physician assistant, practicing since 2008. He’s a GOOD, solid doctor I was offered to do concierge medicine and I chose to stay with Dr Peter.
Traditional medicine is failing in too many areas...throw medicine at afflictions without appropriate revelations as to why, damaging organs, causing terrible side effects requiring more meds that continues the vicious cycle. Consider Dr. Macfield as he is heartfelt, will listen and to his best ability will make the best first step towards the appropriate resolution. He ministers to my family and is terrific across various illnesses.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
