List of Sandeep Khurana's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr. Khurana, MD for a year now. He seemed thorough and focused on prevention. After having tried to talk with him several times about my pacemaker monitor not sending automatic readings to Medtronics, he responded with a question of what my level of education was! Then I received a phone call from him where he was totally irate and yelling over the phone. He wouldn't listen to anything I tried to say, just interupted me with more yelling. I am definitely going to find a new Cardiologist! I don't pay money like he charges to be treated like I'm dumb. No one deserves a doctor to treat them so badly. Condescending, insulting, He definitely has God-like complex! If you want a Dr. who treats you with respect, don't pick him!!!
Dr. Khurana is a brilliant cardiologist. His focus on preventative medicine and nutrition, as well as advising on an overall healthy lifestyle is unmatched.
I have been a patient for many years. Dr. K is very focused on prevention. Following his advice has kept me very healthy and active since my triple bypass. He truly cares about the health and well being of his patients
I went in for a routine blood draw and in the midst of some light small-talk, ended up telling the phlebotomist about how we had to learn to administer IVs while I was in the Marines. Upon hearing I was in the Marines, she immediately assumed that I was a kindred Trump supporter, (I am not), and proceeded to go all Info Wars/Alex Jones/YouTube conspiracy theorist on me. The whole experience was extremely uncomfortable. Also, they had on some weird Christian Evangelist radio station on in the waiting room. It's worth noting that my two-star rating here isn't in any way a result of their opinions simply being different from mine, but rather because they couldn't keep their opinions to themselves in what should reasonably be expected to be a professional, non-partisan, non-religious environment.
I've been seeing Dr. Khurana about 8 years. He is the only Dr. who has been able to help get my cholesterol and high blood pressure under control. He does annual bloodwork to monitor not only the cholesterol level, but more importantly, the size of the cholesterol particles. He goes over the results in great detail, answers questions and makes suggestions for improvement. With this bloodtest he discovered a marker that shows inherited heart attack risk, and has offered to test all 5 of my siblings. Both of my grandfather's, both parents and 2 of my brothers have had heart attacks. With his help I hope to avoid that fate.
Dr. Kharana is a knowledgeable, and caring medical professional, who is commited to providing quality preventive cardiac care to his patients. He has consistently demonstrated a genuine concern about the well being of me and the other members of my family that have seen him as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needed to get a handle on their lipids and was looking for a doctor who will provide quality prevenative care,
Heavy smoker as the receptionist is disgusting. The whole place stinks of smoke.Wao ! Healthy?Heart? Ha ha.The receptionist describes how stupid the doctor is.
Dr K is very friendly and answers our family's questions. Genuinely interested in the well being of the patient. So worth the trip from Muskegon.
Dr. K is warm and welcomes questions. He is interested in knowing about my life and always asks about my family.
Dr. Khurana was condescending from the moment he walked in the room. He "advised" me on things that had nothing to do with my heart that was in direct conflict with my primary care doctor who knows me and my history, unlike this doctor.. He certainly has a "god" complex and I will never go to him again. He ordered ordinary blood work that he said he was the only doctor who did. He sent it to an out of network lab, it cost $1017 that I had to pay for myself. My sister's family doctor ordered the same test. He is a terrible doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
