Vincent Dubravec Md's Online Review Report Card

I've been to their office now 2 times. The 1st time I thought everyone was very nice very professional. Before my next appointment I developed some symptoms which which included shortness of breath, losing my voice, etc...... My primary doctor had run some food allergy blood work which came up with some allergies most of them very minimal. However when I quit eating these foods I received a 100% relief.. She wanted me to go back and see the allergy doctor so I did today.. I was never treated so rudely In my life! He had me in tears while sitting in his office, telling me how my allergy numbers are not allergies. While that may be so typically, obviously my body is reacting to these things. Just because things are typical doesn't mean that everybody fits in that mold. He then proceeded to tell me he had never met anyone in their forties that developed these food allergies. My reply to him was you've never met my mother. I will never step foot in that place again! His answer to everything is that you have acid reflux, when I've had a scope done, swallow studies done and everybody tells me I have very minimal acid reflux for which I take medication. So if you go and see this man be prepared for him to tell you you have acid reflux. He didn't even acknowledge the food journal I kept that showed the foods and the reactions that I would have if I ate them or came into contact with them. I came into contact with peanut butter a week and a 1/2 ago which sent me to the ER with a very severe reaction, to which he told me I don't think it was the peanut butter.This is so unprofessional it wasn't even funny I've been to their office now 2 times. Our doctor referred us here and we are now glad she did! The office is close to an hour from home one way. I didn’t want to have to go. But I was delighted and won over by the professionalism and good bedside manner of Dr Dubravec as he got to know my son. He asked very thorough questions, but also understood middle school age boys and what they like. Made both of us laugh! I am glad he could relate to my son and make it a comfortable experience. I drove 1 hr to Dr Dubravec for allergy testing after my throat nearly closed up twice. Instead I got lectured about depression/anxiety (that I have dealt with for more than five years as well as most of my family members) but according to the allergist I knew nothing about it. Insurance Companies really should not pay for visits like that. FYI he read my history in my medical records that’s how he knew about my past depression. Was Requested to edit my post from the Dr. Hope this is satisfactory. However if you don’t want your personal issues being known don’t turn appointments that’s supposed to be about the patient into it being about you and treat your patient for what they came to see you for. I drive 45 minutes to bring my child to see Dr. Dubravec not because it’s the closest. I pass a handful of allergist on my way, actually. I go out of my way because he’s the best and I trust his treatment plans. I respect his opinions and appreciate the time he spends to carefully explain things to us. His office is kid friendly. I began visiting Dr Dubravec’s office after being hospitalized for a yellow jacket sting. He has the heart of a teacher and effectively communicated what I had encountered along with future implications. I can honestly say that this relationship has likely saved my life, as I have recently been stung and only suffered a large welt. Highly recommend. Dr. Dubravec and his team are amazing!! Would highly recommend this office! My asthma has improved greatly since coming here.

He explained everything well, adjusted my medications and recommended my allergy shots. I am feeling much better, do not miss work anymore. I strongly recommend dr Dubravic and his staff- they are great!

Dr. D took the time to clearly explain results and treatment. He treated me with genuine respect and truly cared about my health. I appreciate his knowledge and professionalism.

I saw Dr. Dubravac for five years for allergies. He is very thorough, communicates and explains everything very well. I would highly recommend anyone to him. His staff are also exceptional!
