Went twice one for knee and it worked out after about a week. Just great, I am in bad health for operations, so we are doing shots. Next my hip was bad again a shot to the groin area, really helped, I am walking more on my own now.. steroid shot really worked. Just great again. All done In the office. No pain from either shot.😁 Office and staff were great also, no long wait.

Everyone was professional and kind. They weren’t eager to perform surgery which was encouraging. Dr. Swartz was really lovely as was his staff.

Dr. Swartz previously gave me a surgical fix to dislocated hip which closer hospital ER treated casually with a leg brace! He was my only choice for knee replacement fix 2 years later, and he made it functional, less catching and pain in every left step. He’s a great listener and explained options. Tests did not pinpoint the degree of repair (possibly total replacement) needed, but I trusted his knowledge, expertise, experience in deciding once he made the incision. I diligently did a month of pre-surgery exercises. DO THEM! Post- surgery PT exercises had me at the knee flexion measurements for 6 weeks at 2 weeks. I credit his reminder e-messages as part of my ongoing recovery. They magically came just after a question was forming. The staffers in his office and at Holland Hospital are tip-top in graciousness and answering any & all concerns. For quality surgery, mine is a 110% recommendation if you think you need Dr. Swartz’s outstanding orthopedic care for hip or knee surgery.
