Holt Senior Care & Rehab Center's Online Review Report Card

My mother in law is living there now and so far, so good. Every person we have encountered working there has been beyond kind, patient, friendly and professional. They truly seem to care about the residents and take gentle, caring and phenomenal care of them. The meals are plentiful and look appetizing. We spoke to our mother in law recently about the possibility of moving to live with one of her sons and his wife, but she said she thinks she wants to stay there. The building has several comfortable places to visit with your loved ones, but the only downside is that the shared residents’ living areas are very very small and cramped. I do wish they’d invest in some renovations to make this better.

My Dad was there for about 2 1/2 weeks, and received excellent care. The whole staff was so friendly, caring, and was always right there to meet his every need. His care team, and especially his nurse, always kept the family well informed about how he was doing, changes to medications, and test results. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for excellent care and rehab for a loved one!

My mom worked there, and died there. When she was gone. All her stuff was not there. 8 days after, my dad died there. All his stuff was not returned to me. Before my dad was gone. Things were coming up missing. Not happy with the fact.

My mom has been given excellent care here. Staff has been very patient and respectful. The staff at her previous facility was nothing like this, so we appreciate it that much more.

Such a great facility! The staff are always welcoming, very communicative, attention to detail! Would recommend this facility over and over again.

My father was recently at this facility. While some of the "feel" of the facility is a little dated, the care he received here was fantastic. The staff was caring, attentive, and always kind. Our family appreciates their efforts and kindness.

I work here and I can honestly say that this is by far the best facility I have ever worked in. The staff here are absolutely wonderful and the team work is great. I see a few comments talking about how awful it is here and I cant help but wonder what the rest if the story is. I have been an aide for 8 years, I have worked in most of the facilities in the area and I can tell you that our facility is not only run better but it smells better and looks better. I cant think of one person that doesnt genuinely have our resident's best interest at heart. Our managerial squad is amazing. I have never worked for a facility where the nurses and managers helped with resident care. Toileting, shaving, serving meals, showers... My unit manager has givene residents showers on more than one occasion... Not because we we short staffed (as one might assume) but because the resident needed a shower and our managers believe that team work makes the dream work and she just wanted to help out. We were adequately staffed, we werent super busy, she just wanted to help. Our scheduler helps with transfers and toileting on a regular basis and I have on several occasions seen our administrator in the di ing rooms serving meals and helping to bring residents to their tables. We all work together and we all have the same "our residents needs come first" mindset. When things get busy, It's nice that without being asked, our nurses are right there to offer assistance and help make our days smooth and our residents lives better. I love my job and I love my co-workers. Holt Senior Care and Rehab is a wonderful place with a top-notch therapy program. We just had a lady who come in over the summer after a stroke that left her in horrific pain and unable to walk. Thanks to our therapy program she regained her ability to walk and is now home with her family and living a normal life. If you want your loved one to receive quality care in a clean and well maintained facility, HSCRC is the only place to bring them!
