John Stephenson's Online Review Report Card

No better care out there! After a nightmare with another dentist I came back to Dr. Stephenson to try and help sort things out and maybe fix the damage. He always puts his best effort in to his patient care in a caring and compassionate manner, always doing his very best. Liz and Jennifer are great as well and you always feel welcomed when you're there......like you matter! NEVER should have left to find a closer dentist. Happy to travel the distance for proper dental care!

My husband has been a patient of Dr Stephenson for 33yrs and I have been a patient for 30yrs. My father saw Dr Stephenson as well for 10 yrs before he passed away. So we have a long history with him, his staff and his practice. I can say without a doubt he is the best dentist we've ever seen and especially the best for "Dental Chickens" like my father was. If you need a referral for specialized dentistry, he refers to the best in the area. My husband needed to have dental surgery to remove a incisor tooth attached to the side of his upper jaw bone that had begun to decay and needed a bone implant. He then needed orthodontia to make space for an implant to replace the tooth and most recently he had to have a screw implanted for the eventual replacement tooth which Dr Stephenson will do. Every specialized dental professional referred to us by Dr Stephenson has been outstanding and given my husband the best care. Most recently he saw my 81yo mother, who lost her upper denture and discovered she needs extensive prosthodontic care not only to replace the upper denture but also for several missing teeth on her lower jaw. I called Dr Stephenson and he made time to see her within 2 days which was much faster than we expected. Because of the need for Prosthodontic care, Dr Stephenson referred her to Dr Brenden Bernhart and called him just as we were leaving his office to explain the critical and extensive issues my mom has. Dr Bernhart has been terrific and made time to see her ASAP for initial consultation. He began the work within a few days (the delay being due to my mother's scheduling conflicts with other doctors) seeing her in the late afternoon so he could spend as much time with her as needed. I have been very impressed with his concern for her and his generosity with his time to work well into the evening to see to it that she has teeth to chew with. I promise if you see Dr Stephenson and his staff for your regular dental care you will not be disappointed. They will make you feel like a part of their family.

Dr. Stephenson does not only have gentle hands, but a gentle demeanor, as well. His entire staff is friendly, kind, understanding, and honest. They are like a second family to me, and ask about *my* family with every appointment. Most dentists I have seen throughout my life have been pretty good, but Dr. Stephenson is above and beyond. His patience is wonderful, and the quality of his work has withstood the test of time. I trust his opinion regarding any necessary oral treatment. I have recently had a few experiences with another dental practice (I've been going there for orthodontic treatment), where I felt pressured to have procedures performed that I felt were unnecessary. Dr. Stephenson gave me honest medical opinions that I needed to make informed decisions, and having a medical professional that you can actually trust is invaluable.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Stephenson for years now, and I had to write a review of his outstanding office before we moved out of the area. Truly, one of the things my husband and I are lamenting over as we pack our bags for sunny San Diego is leaving the great care of Dr. Stephenson and his team! He always makes you feel welcome and cared for, and the entire team remembers you personally and treats you like family. The dental care is great as well, and they are always very thorough and helpful with any dental needs I've had in the past. I can't recommend Dr. Stephenson and his team more! Thank you!

Absolutely the best dentist in the world. I have been going to him for 40 years and cannot recommend him enough. Dr. Stephenson and his staff are caring, friendly and very good at what they do. I cannot imagine going to anyone else.
