I came in for a real bad ear issue and the Doc, after tests was dismissive, uninterested, gave me a sheet on what he thought my issue was and it is not. Am I upset because he gave me not much feedback? I guess he wants to do surgery and that is it but not sure?

Had an MRI for a reoccurring ear infection and some hearing loss in the ear. He stated I am not sure what is wrong then suggested a steroid shot by my ear BUT if could make you loose your hearing permanently in the ear he told me.... say what....then why suggest this barbaric procedure that I would NEVER have??? You know why, because he is not that good of an ENT and is not sure, then send me to another specialist who can find out why I keep getting an infection every few months that makes me real sick? So, I am at a loss except he said maybe limiting salt may help then gave me an information sheet, nothing more and sent me on my way? He wanted me to return in 3 months I made the appointment but will cancel because it is not worth my time or money. So I am back to square one on this ongoing health issue.
