I had severe leg pain and could barely walk. I saw Dr. Johnson and he said that most disc prolapses recover on their own, and that it's better to avoid surgery if possible. He said that unless I had a loss of bladder function, or I was in so much pain I was contemplating suicide, it was really better to try other interventions before surgery. So he arranged for an epidural for my low back, and prescribed a lot of gentle walking. Well, within 2 months, I was completely back to normal, and now, over a year later, I have no trouble with my back. This doctor took a detailed history of me, examined me thoroughly, and instead of recommending surgery to enrich his own wallet, he counseled me to try non-invasive options -- and it worked. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Johnson and would recommend him to anyone. I had heard that he was an amazing surgeon - but he is also an amazing doctor who will help you assess your options and avoid surgery if it's possible.

Dr Michael Johnson, is an amazing surgeon for the fact that he is extremely well educated, and still manages to be humble, and kind to his patients. He makes u feel like you are a real person, and understands the fears of his patients. He probably has seen everything in his career, and he still manages to make you feel like your surgery and experience is hard on you. I am grateful completely that he was my surgeon, and that he made the time to do my surgery that caused much pain for me. It was really nice to meet a surgeon that is still “human” and kind! I hope to whomever sees this, and is anticipating surgery by this skilled surgeon takes comfort in knowing he is the best of the best (just read his bio) and on top of all that he still is a kind, charming person with a good heart, and is Such a blessing to the field of medicine.

Dr Johnson has operated on my daughter`s 3/4 of the entire spine to fix her scoliosis. Not only did he do an amazing job on her, but also made us feel incredibly comforted as parents, and confident in him . He is so passionate about what he does, it`s just unreal. She is now scoliosis free teenager, proud of her scar, playing in a Volleyball club, and working to make her dream trip come true after she graduates. Dr Johnson- you are a genius! And Sherri- you are an angel. There is no enough words to say thank you...

Dr. Johnson gave me back my life. I was so crippled and in so much pain from spinal stenosis.. He operated on my lower spine, and I went from a wheelchair in agoney, to almost pain free and walking all over town! I love the man! He is so humble and caring, as is Sheri his nurse. I am so very thankful to have found such talented and caring people.

Dr micheal Johnson is the best surgeon by far , caring compasionate. I was in and out of surgery before I knew it . His nurse Sheri is the best , very caring as well. Has called a couple of times to check in on me . And I know that I can call their office anytime . Best part is they always have the answer I am looking for . Dr. Johnson is an impeccable person and a very thorough surgeon! I'm 2 weeks post op of having scoliosis surgery and I couldn't be happier with my results and how I'm recovering! I would be in a totally different place with out him!

Dr Johnson just operated on my granddaughter for scoliosis. She had a severe curve in her spine. At the initial appointment he explained everything of what could be done and advised surgery. Well surgery day was 2 weeks ago. The surgery went well but I can't say enough about Dr Johnsons skill. He is also the most caring and passionate person I have ever met. I am convinced my granddaughter would not be fixed if it wasn't for him
