List of Addington Place Of Clarkston's Reviews
if I could rate this place with 0 stars I WOULD! Where do I start? 1.) PATIENT CARE LEVELS ARE NOT MET FOR RESIDENTS THAT THEY ARE PAYING FOR staff are untrained and barely knows the basics of patient care. Staff has something NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT EVERY RESIDENT 2.) RACIST COMMUNITY! If you have any kind of MELAN to your skin stay away! They are NOT FOR US! 3.) They will bribe you and than things will be totally be different when you officially come on board and expectations and additional trainings are going to be postponed! 4.) they will work you but NOT PAY YOUR WORTH but expect MORE AND MORE AND MORE and work you like a slave. 5.) The DON Lucy is two faced and is only in this for the money not because you actually cares for the residents. She is disrespectful and UNPROFESSIONAL and if you earned a bonus and or she bribed you with money to pick a shift up if you decide not to take on that shift she will try to take every bonus away that You earned or worked! 6.) Discrimination is real at Addington 7.) The Employees are nothing but Bullies! 8.) Supervisors cannot control they’re employees which is why the turnover rate at this location is HIGH! 9.) it’s a very negative work environment and toxic if your into protecting your peace mentally I don’t care how desperately you need a job DONT WORK HERE 10.) your under paid! 11.) Jasmine will make your schedule work you like a SLAVE! 12.) THIS PLACE IS FILTHY! Just a FYI I got hired in here last week it’s been awful since day one I got treated poorly I tried to stick around because the residents deserve BETTER PATIENT CARE of course the management are failing these poor residents than when you speak to this management your tossed around and they’ll make you feel like a POS there’s one Supervisor there that sits in my heart even though she is upset that I quit but the toxicity of this place I could not do it management will punish you and add days and make u work doubles because they’re not fond of you I was told by Lucy that she was disappointed at me for not moving fast enough during a Christmas party when I wasn’t notified that there was a Christmas party happening I got harrassed by a couple of employees and bullied and it was oops let me wipe that up from management I highly doubt that any of this was discussed with the ED I wonder if I would even receive a call from him he needs to know what kind of Negligence that his management team and staff is giving in this building it’s to bad but life moves on I will be making some reports to Labor Laws and Business Bureus and some lawyers to better serve myself and these patients that are being NEGLECTED! And the nursing license that needs to be provoked from LUCY this was the worse experience of my life
Not recommended for any vulnerable seniors! The first wknd my mom moved in she was having anxiety with the transition. Nurse/aides administered sedative pharmaceuticals without our (guardian) permission. No phone calls received until a week later from Doctor who said the family was notified. (Lie)My mother received no assistance with dressing or showers so when I came to help her with a shower I noticed her sprained & swollen ankle. Took her to the nurse and no one was aware of the injury. Perhaps she tripped while sedated?! And who knows how long she was walking on it?Every time I came to visit twice a week I noticed her room wasn't being cleaned. I was taking out her garbage, dirty dishes and complained via email about unsanitary bathroom and lack of vacuuming. Director never replied & I had to bring in my own vaccum cleaner.Understaffed & High staff turn over. Heard another resident in a wheelchair begging someone to give him a shower. You would think if this establishment didn't want to pay the 60day money back guarantee, they would go out of their way to make things good & right, but instead they are denying our money back because it wasn't in writing. Which is also untrue. I spoke to people in person and through emails. (Which is written!) I am shocked at the complete disregard for the elderly and for not accepting or admitting their mistakes. On behalf of a few good aides/workers there, I thank you for your compassion and hard work. I'm sure you are underpaid as well.
This community has a great reputation and they always live up to it. great place, great people
Karen has been at Autumn Ridge for close to two years. She is very happy there. Today I would like to give “thumbs up” to two employees. Morgan, caregiver, does an exceptional job and Elena, housekeeper, works extremely hard, always pleasant and does a great job cleaning for us. Thank you to everyone on staff for caring.
Moving Mom here was so difficult for Mom and family, but the staff have been so caring and attentive. Mom is enjoying her time there—about two months now—and our initial angst is gone. Kind, friendly and respectful caregivers make Mom feel very safe and welcome, and she has made new friends, doing activities she would not otherwise have been doing. No complaints about the meals, either. She likes it there! So glad Autumn Ridge was recommended to us...
Clean, professional, beautiful grounds and excellent care for your loved ones.
Outstanding Support! As a chaplain who has visited the Autumn Ridge Assisted Living patrons, please believe me when I say their support is "TOP BOX." I have visited a number of facilities in the Southeast Michigan area and there are few others who nurture their residents as their staff does. Jordan, Gail, Josie, and a number of other staff work together to create an atmosphere of inclusion where residents thrive. If you have a loved one who is looking for a place to live a vibrant lifestyle or needs support to help them to thrive. Autumn Ridge is the place!Minister Chris
As they say, there's no place like home but, Autumn Ridge provided a very caring, loving environment for my mother-in-law (Norma). She was not able to walk after her fall and life became a huge challenge. We Thank God that we found Autumn Ridge and we're grateful they welcomed her with open arms.Eventually, toward Norma’s final months we put her in the care of hospice. That was probably one of the best decisions we could have made, not only for her, but us as well. The communication was outstanding. We live in Fla. so were unable to physical be there. Her nurse, Lucy Noble was a God send, she faithfully called us every week to keep us informed on all aspects of Norma’s care. Between Lucy, the minister, Christella and care givers Tanya & Jordan, Norma had an additional layer of care. We were very comfortable knowing Norma was safe and secure and if any issues came up we were notified immediately. We honestly feel that Norm’s care was outstanding and we would highly recommend Autumn Ridge to anyone in need of assisted living. It’s a tough decision and we hope this recommendation helps. God Bless and good luck to all.
Very nice place

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
