I was previously seeing a different practitioner at this practice, but that practitioner left. I called the office and they scheduled me to see Dr. Shaw via telemed. My appointment was at 4 pm. Unfortunately, at 4:05, the office called me to tell my they were cancelling my appointment because Dr. Shaw wanted to see me in person. I don't mind needing to come in for an in-person visit, but this should have been communicated to me before 5 minutes after my appointment start time, after I had put in PTO at work. I will see a doctor who respects my time.

Doctor Shaw has been my doctor for almost 10 years. Doctor Shaw actually saved my life. I was extremely sick in 2014 and went to see doctor Shaw. With my symptoms, he immediately admitted me to the hospital. It turned out I had Liver disease and eventually needed a new Liver, which I later received at Jefferson hospital. If it were not for doctor Shaw's excellent care, and admitting me to the hospital right away, I wouldn't be typing this right now! Thank you Doctor Shaw!!!
