List of Khawaja H. Ikram's Reviews
Dr is very intelligent and caring, he listens without brushing your concerns away, thanks for working to fix my problem
Dr Ikram and staff very professional and kind. He took his time with my exam and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this orthopedic specialist for our Jackson community. Quick appointments and great experience with this awesome doctor !
Great friendly staff and the doctor is excellent. Been a patient for over twenty years
As an ex Div I baseball pitcher, my body is a mess. He has performed surgery on both shoulders, knee, elbow. He is the kind of surgeon you will want to employ: a bit "anal" about the work he does. I made a mistake and had knee done first time by the surgeon that the University sports program uses. MISTAKE. My knee was so much better after Dr. Ikram surgery than the first time 3-4yrs earlier. I WON'T make that mistake again!
Physician takes biased opinion of his nurse over speaking with the patient directly. Physician refused to consider factual evidence and would not allow any information such as physical therapy records to even be discussed or presented. Physician lied outright in communication while patient and medical advocate were on the line. Physician nor office staff used professional decorum but attacked first to justify their labeling and belittlement of patient. In summery of you want a medical experience where you as the patient are not heard, conclusions are jumped to, your words get twisted, you are labeled as a radical or difficult patient when you are only trying to voice concerns and seek an alternative to achieve the same result, and you want the physician to go over board being dramatic then go see this narcissist who will turn on you instantly, character assassinate you and defend slander if you question or bring any additional information to the conversation. Terrible phone etiquette. Highly unprofessional. Doesn't uphold the Hippocratic oath. Doesn't care about patient need. You better do everything his way or your going to pay. Patient missed one therapy appointment due to food poisoning and one due to vomiting and a possible atrial fibrillation episode and physician labeled patient as not motivated to take personal accountibilty for care. Patient asked one question about getting a covid sputum test over a nasal swab and voiced concerns. Instead of the nurse or the physician educating the patient allieviating fear like any other medical personnel in the world will happily give this particular physician and his nurse attacked, labeled patient as difficult, and recommended patient find another physician to do the surgery. When patient voiced her desire to not have to start all over with a new physician her request was not received. She was rejected. When medical advocate , who is a retired medical professional contacted office, with patient on the phone, the nurse interjected her personal bias expressing her dislike of the patient and how she personally thought the patients request for a covid sputum test was rediculous and so unusual that the nurse pointed out that no one else ever has asked such a question. That is discrimination. Patients have the right to ask questions. Many patient rights have been violated here. This has been fully reported. In summary this office and the physician play God, exercise discrimination, violate patient rights, and do not hold any standard for delivering appropriate patient care. Rediculous and a blight on the rest of the medical community.
I was very impressed with the knowledge and level of care provided by Dr Ikram and his staff. The treatment I received has corrected the problem that I had been suffering from for some time. I would highly recommend him to any one facing orthopedic issues.
So I will be honest, the wait time is long. HOWEVER, I would not want to go anywhere else! I broke my foot while pregnant, and they got me in the next day, while other locations pushed me out up to a week. When I got my cast wet, they got me in next day again to redo my cast. My husband saw them following an injury, and the staff remembered me and asked how the baby and I are doing. The entire staff are wonderful, and very friendly. The doctor listens, and answers any questions. I believe his time with patients is what accounts for the long wait times, but I`m ok with that. I would rather have a caring doctor than one who tries to shoo me out the door.
Very kind and caring doctor and staff. He gave me his full attention, never did I feel hurried. He addressed all my concerns. I've had a hard time finding other doctors to do this. I'm so thankful I went to see him.
Wonderful Dr. who takes the time to listen and educate. His support staff is just as caring and willing to go above and beyond.
Over the years for various injuries, Dr. Ikram has always taken time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions, including after hours where I had some concerns after recent surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
