Dr. Bloomer it the very best

All I can say is my Daughter who is 8 will not see anyone else. I had started seeing Dr Bloomer when Sydney was born because it was closer than my other family Doctor. I always thought he looked way too young to know what he is talking about. Dont let this fool you. Dr.Bloomer is so right on with his diagnosis it's incredible. The man really hears you and takes the time to medically treat you properly. I think alot of Dr.s just prescribe,presribe,prescribe and dont really look at the patient as a whole. I read that last review about the patient and the prescription mess up. They wouldn't drop a patient if they didn't think it nescessary. There was an abuse of something going on there. I only say this because Dr. Bloomer and his staff are amazing. We had switched Dr's a year ago and went back to my old family Dr now that Sydney was old enough to handle the 30 minute Drive there and back. Well she hated that Doctor so much that I called Dr Bloomer who was not taking new patients at the time and they got my whole family back in.In this day and age when so many Dr's just care about the bottom line and getting you in and out as fast as they can. It's nice to know that there is a Doctor and staff out there who care about their patients.

I have had a few Dr due to relocation and Dr Bloomers bedside manner is the best! He takes the time to listen to me and the issues.I highly recommend him, and I dont work in the office or know him on a personal basis, this is an honest review.

We had a misunderstanding between ourselves and the doctors office, concerning a prescription refill request and because of this misunderstanding we were dropped as patients.My wife was referred by Dr. Bloomer to a Neurosurgeon for surgery. The neurosurgeon prescribed pain medicine for my wife to take for several weeks during recovery. During one refill period on the pain medicine, we attempted to contact the Neurosurgeons office for a refill and were informed that he was unavailable to do the refill and to please contact our family physician to handle this refill request. This had previously happened one time before and was not an issue in getting the refill on the prescription taken care of.This time was no different than the previous time, when we contacted Dr. Bloomers office and gave them the request on the prescription refill and they informed that the refill would be taken care of. In the mean time, the Neurosurgeons office contacted us and said that they handled the refill request. We then contacted Dr. Bloomers office to inform them of what the Neurosurgeons office said and to please cancel the request for the refill. We were informed that they would cancel it.The next day we received a letter in the mail from Dr. Bloomers office, informing us that they were dropping us as patients, due to a Breakdown in the Doctor/Patient relationship.We contacted them to ask what was happening and we were informed that it was because we had contacted both offices for the refill on the prescription. We informed them that we had called you explaining why we were calling and then followed up again when the other office contacted us back, to say that they had handled the prescription refill request.The lady on the other end of the phone from Dr. Bloomers office said that it was too late for explanations and even though they had made the mistake, it wasnt their problem now and that we should seek a new family doctor elsewhere.Every time we have been to Dr. Bloomers office, we have always felt like he was keeping his distance from us. Dr. Bloomer always sat on the opposite side of the exam table and when he would have to come towards for the exam, afterwards he would always move back to the other side of the exam table.So maybe this is for the best.
