If you want absolutely no follow-up or results from a doctor's office, this is the place for you! Have an issue, go in and get tests ordered. They will acknowledge the results in somewhat of a head-nodding way ... then do absolutely nothing in terms of treatment.I have moved on to a new doctor and could not be happier!

My grandfather has been dealing with awful anxiety & depression for the last 10 years since he retired at the age of 72. His mind is deteriorating, he lays in bed with the lights on all night & worry, refuse to get out of bed, & neglects personal hygiene. The last 2 years have been very tiring on my grandmother & I trying to keep him content. I called Dr. Bivens office & requested a group appointment between my grandmother & I with Dr. Bivens to address our concerns & inquire about possible treatment or therapy to help improve my grandfather's quality of life. My grandmother has been married to him for over 62 years & I have lived with him for over the last 20 years. When Dr. Bivens called for the appointment he was extremely inconsiderate & refused to hear a word that either of us had to say. He was very rude to me & told my grandmother to never let me call him again. The protocol he exhibited is not appropriate for an elderly patient suffering from mental deterioration.

I have been going to Bivins for 8 years. I have had my Appointments cancelled and not been able to get back in for 3.m0nths again. This last appointment they canceled on me changed my appointment and never called me about the new appointment. His office help STUDENTS are very uneducated for patients best interest. I am seeking another Doctor who can keep my appointments and not abandon me. I would highly recommend not going to Bivins.

I am a cancer and diabetic patient with Dr. Bivens. He is a caring and well studied person who understands my conditions and the treatment of them. There are not many who understand hormonal treatment of salivary duct cancer, as I am the first patient treated in this manner by U of M. Dr. Bivens gets it, and that I appreciate.Joe H

If you have a question after an appointment, it is hard to reach the doctor. Like he does not have time for you. It takes 2-3 days for the nurse to call you back after she text the doctor a message on their software.

They treated my grandma for pneumonia and her lungs were getting filled up with fluid. And she ended up have cancer and she passed away less then 3 and a half months. So unfortunately it probably best to get a second opinion from another practice. A couple of my other family members have been go here, but not for much longer. It’s hard to not be upset when you do what the doctor tells you to do and go through the process that he tells you to do and he isn’t even treating you for actually what the issue is.

takes time to listen and meet you needs. staff is professional, courteous and capable. location is easy to access with ample parking.

this truly amazes me how ppl have given Dr. Bivens a 1 star rating; but then again, he isn't a dr tht will give what u want, he gives what u need.. I love my dr. Dr Bivens has always been right on.. I suffer from kidney disease, he has always been on me to keep my labs up, he shows love and concern constantly.. I recently took a friend to him who has diabetes, and she has stopped alot of her meds, he was so concerned, he took her as his patient and showed her the same caring and love he has always showed me. He even took her shoe and sock off himself, and REPLACED it nicely, whn i said i could do tht, he looked at me and said, "i took it off i can put it back on".. WHAT DR DOES THT?? Thn my friend asked if he thought she could ever be off insulin, & his reply was, "I BELIEVE IN THE IMPOSSIBLE".. what an awesome thing to say... I BELIEVE IN THE IMPOSSIBLE... WOW... Thank u Dr. Bivens for all ur care.. I completely APPRECIATE all u have done for me and my family... God bless u always
