Dr. Jay Lugthart has been our family doctor since the late 1980s. He is extremely professional and has consistently provided us with outstanding medical care. More importantly, he has qualities that are becoming quite rare in the medical community today; Dr. Lugthart listens to and cares about his patients. He evaluates medical problems by putting patients at ease with pleasant conversation while at the same time closely observing patients' behavior and overall health to arrive at a diagnosis. Dr. Jay Lugthart is an excellent doctor.

This doctor has been seeing my in laws for 30+ years. This past week he had my elderly in laws sit and wait for 2 hours. Others who came in after them were seen before them. When they questioned a nurse in the hall, she said she doesn't know why he went in to see another patient first. When he finally came in, they made mention of it and instead of listening or apologizing, he said he was too old to take this kind of bull. His attitude is unprofessional to say the least. My poor mom in law sat there crying with no care in the world shown by him. Do not go here!

This doctor needs to retire. He has no true concern for his patients anymore. When my elderly in laws were in last, and made to wait for 2 hours, they made mention to him as he came in the room about the time, his response was that he was too old for this bull. So unprofessional!
