After a year of being my primary care office, whom I loved, I decided to get my partner in there as well! Upon trying to do so, he was accused of seeking drugs, and they refused to see him. Laura the office manager is rude, and doesn't return phone calls (3 separate occasions I had this problem), and Pamela in the office was also extremely rude hanging up on me after saying "Have a blessed day." Dr Barnett is extremely short, and has no bedside manner. The only person with a half a clue what's going on around there is Kacey - their NP. Pretty sad. After getting upset with this situation, I was informed (screamed at) by Laura their office manager, that both my boyfriend and myself were dropped as patients and could find other PCP's (1 day after my doctor starting me on a new controlled substance). In my eyes - this is patient abandonment. I will go elsewhere - where I'm valued and treated well, and where my partner won't be accused of drug seeking 5 days after having a major surgery. What a joke of a doctors office. Also not sure what sketchy things are going on there, as they just had to fire a Medical Assistant and force retire one of their office staff. Seems pretty fishy to me. Go elsewhere - would not recommend.

He has been my Doctor for years. I fine him very easy to talk to. Listens to what i want and is compassionate to my rants. His staff feels like family..Beautiful group of caring people. I tried a new office because I have no insurance and they charge on a scale according to my income. So much more affordable. But my first visit was my last. I called back Dr. Barnett's office and offered my apology and asked if they would take me back as their patient. Thankfully they did. Finding a doctor with no insurance is nearly impossible. Never leave again!! Love Family Medical

Kind, Considerate, Listens, Will accept opinions of the family, Staff is always helpful and pleasant to work with. Dr Barnett delivered one of my first babies...30 years ago. I don't plan to change Drs unless he retires before me. :)

Dr. Barnett is a nice man, but you can tell he's ready to retire. He does take a long time to get to you and he doesn't spend a ton of time with you (if you're younger, I suppose. He seems to spend a good chunk of time with the elderly crowd). He will answer your questions honestly. He seems like a quiet man or, rather, introverted. His office is closed frequently and only open Monday through Thursday. He can usually get you in pretty quick, but his receptionist(s) are incredibly dim.
