Dr Chakrabortty is a wonderful pain management doctor. He took over for Dr. Richter who was retiring and I was very nervous about switching doctors. I'm so happy with Dr. Chakrabortty and his staff. They are very accommodating for me and my health issues. Dr. Chakrabortty is a great listener and truly wants the best for his patients. Managing chronic pain is a hot-button issue over the last few years and it sometimes feels like those that are suffering from it are doomed to be "drug addicts". Dr. Chakrabortty does not make me feel that way and understands that most patients are truly suffering from chronic conditions that cause terrible pain and there is no cure for it. He works with me on dosing and truly listens about what is going on with my condition. During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Chakrabortty set up virtual appointments which helped me greatly. His office staff is fantastic and I highly recommend Dr. Chakrabortty as a pain management physician.

Dr. Chakrabortty listened when others dismissed my concerns. It took 10 years for me to get diagnosed with endometriosis, and then I still had a fight to be validated for the ongoing issues I had. Dr. Chakrabortty treated me with compassion and understanding from the get go, and gave options for managing my symptoms. I would strongly recommend his expertise to anyone looking!

I saw this doctor, who was recommended by my PC, and he was one of the rudest men I think I’ve ever met. He got mad at me because my granddaughter had spilled some chocolate spots on my copy of an MRI report, kept saying that I was wearing a shoe insert over and over. So? I to.d him one of my feet is larger than the other so I was filling up the space. He continued to remark about this. No idea why, except maybe he thought I had an orthopedic, but he never said. He gave me no meds even though I had come from another doctor who had been prescribing me meds, at least until I can get some other treatment. I had a 2 week follow-up, which I cancelled, even though I’m still in severe pain. I will not be treated by doctors who don’t have any respect for their patients.

Dr. Chakrabortty is an Excellent Physician! He takes the time to listen to his patients and comes up with the best options for you the patient! He truly cares for his patients long term health and well being. I have been seeing Dr. Chakrabortty for a few years and Highly Recommend him to anyone that has severe and/or chronic pain! A+++ and 5 Stars all the way! Schedule an appointment and you will be pleased!

DR. Chak is a very professional & caring doc. Wonderful bedside manner. 99% on time with appts which means alot to a busy person. I actually followed Dr Chak from det to lake orion which is #53 miles round trip because he Is that good. You won't be sorry seeing him. He's my miracle doc, I'm no longer laying in bed crying he's given me my life back. There's pain docs out there dime a dozen but nothing like Dr Chak & his staff is very friendly n just awesome. See for yourself.

He was a very nice and courteous person when taking care of other people. He truly does care about his patients. I will definitely be seeing him again if I need to!

Dr Chak CARES! He has a great, understanding bedside manner. He truly wants to make your pain better so you can have a better quality of life. He takes as much time as you need, he never makes you feel rushed or like your problems are not as important as the next patients. I followed Dr Chak from Detroit even though it more than doubled my drive time and mileage. For me it was very worth it! He has been my pain physician for over 10 years. One final thing...He's good eye candy.

Dr. Chak is a great, thoughtful man. Finest doctor I have ever treated with in his specialty. He is honest about the long and short term effects and goals of each treatment he offers. He does offer a full service pain center as well. He encourages you to seek out lifestyle changes, PT, injections, etc. However, when all else fails he will NOT try to con you into keeping the status quo. He will work closely with your surgeon, et.al. He is not afraid to use meds to help, BUT He is no pill mill.
