Absolute best family care practitioner I’ve ever experienced. Very detailed, very thorough, very exact in his medical approach. A true patient advocate. Always keeping up with most recent CDC recommendations and Proactive measures patients should be aware of. Lisa his medical assistant is also fantastic. I would go to any facility he is employed.

Just moved to the area and was very worried about finding a good primary care Dr in the area. So grateful to have found Dr. Wert. He has been patient, kind, and understanding. I truly feel a sense that he actually cares about his patients. I did not feel rushed with him at all. Other offices felt like a production line. Get you in the room and out in 10 mins to move on to the net patient. Very kind man!

Im an OIF/OEF Veteran patient of Dr. Wert. I cant say enough as to the incredible care I recieved from him. I have been difficult at times as a patient ( following Drs. orders). Injuries from my military service have left me both mentally & physically disabled and Dr. Erik Wert's guidiance and care walked me through it.

Listens to his patients. Explains things in detail, even using diagrams to help.

Not very caring, Does not work well with other doctors offices. Refuses to help patient's with insurance, paperwork, follow-up questions etc. Would not recommend him as a primary care doctor. Will not cooperate with other medical facilities request or return calls or faxes.

I give the one star for his absolutely fabulous assistant and the administrative staff at CIMA who deserve the respect of his title far more than he does. I want to be fair in this review, like I mentioned his medical assistant was one of the best I’ve ever experienced— personable, kind, funny, etc. So I was very taken aback by how absolutely brash, rude, condescending, flippant, and just downright mean Dr. Wert actually was. I am a fat woman. It’s not something I’m unaware of. I’m also not stupid, which is how I was treated and talked to. I have heard absolute horror stories from other fat friends about treatment from doctors but counted myself lucky it had never been that bad. Yesterday, in a very fragile mental state but masking it very well, I went to my doctors appointment hopeful that I would be able to make a new connection after my previous primary care doctors left practice. He informed me at one point that he “had been a surgeon” and honestly that tracks from the absolutely appalling bedside manner I witnessed yesterday. My husband spent the rest of the day yesterday trying to convince me to eat some soup or drink some water and not to end my life. This doctor should not be in primary care and to anyone with a fat/large body, I beg of you to spare yourself and look for care somewhere else where you’ll be treated with basic human dignity because if he feels entitled to act this way then I can imagine that other providers within the practice feel and act the same way. Dr. Wert, fat people are human beings who deserve dignity, respect, and care. The behavior you displayed yesterday at my appointment was dehumanizing, humiliating, and insulting to your profession. Do better.

I followed Dr Wert from his previous place of employment. Great doctor !

Dr. Wert has been my PCP for nearly half a decade. He is thorough, kind, and helpful -- everything one could ask for in a primary care provider.

Dr. Erik Wert has been my primary care physician for over 6 years. He is the best doctor I've ever had. He is very thorough, well-informed, and service-oriented towards his patients and the community he serves. He has gone above and beyond what is strictly necessary in getting me the care that I've needed. I've already recommended him to dozens of my family and friends, and I encourage anyone in need of a doctor to make an appointment.

Dr. Wert is amazing. He takes the time to listen to his patients, even after hours and on his personal time when necessary. He is also amazingly thorough, with pre-emptive and regular testing and monitoring for his patients with chronic conditions.
