Kudos to the staff!! Mary is an awesome coordinator, scheduler, and office manager! She is intuitive in interaction with customers, detail-oriented, welcoming, and she anticipates a variety of ways to support everyone. Jordyn is meticulous and skilled in her approach to health and wellness and always goes above and beyond in delivering results-oriented treatment while educating at the same time. The nursing care team (Jessica, Richelle, and Elizabeth) are positive and each demonstrates care for the whole person. They are natural encouragers, consistent in warmth/friendliness, sensitive to overall needs, extremely knowledgeable and they go the extra mile to ensure needs are addressed. Everyone is in the best of hands in this practice. I’m grateful for each of them.

Dr. McSwain is a lifesaver!!! She is a top-notch doctor who cares about her patients. Her attention to detail and professional recommendations are second to none. My entire family goes to see Dr McSwain and we couldn't be happier!

Buyer beware! I attended the functional medicine group visit on February 29, 2020. I was told that the group visit is $150.00 and because I had no insurance I also had to pay $150.00 for the blood work. The $300 was paid to the wellness center at the time of blood draw. Then a week later I got a $1200 bill from the lab for my blood work. A couple weeks later I attend the group visit, Dr. McSwain herself reassured me that she will take care of this she "will talk to her representative with Quest lab and have it taken care of". This apparently never happened. I have sent multiple emails to Dr. McSwain asking to fix this issue and I have gotten no response. Not one reply!! Not only did I pay directly for the blood work to the center, but I am also paying the lab directly. I do not feel that my care was handled with honesty and integrity. Just be careful when dealing with this company.

I have two autoimmune diseases and some back/neck issues that have plagued me for years. The underlying issues in all of these is constant stress. I've been able to reduce the autoimmune symptoms and improve my physical health under Dr. McSwain's care. We've gotten to the root of many of my physical health issues and I'm feeling much better!

I’ve met with Dr. McSwain a handful of times and always leave our sessions feeling relaxed and refreshed. Her patient care is personal and educational. I received a KPS pregnancy belly facial when I was over 30 weeks pregnant to help with stretch marks and my skin was so soft for days! I recently went back to see Dr. McSwain for a 6 weeks postpartum follow up and didn’t realize how tight and sore my body was from labor and delivery to caring for a baby 24/7. She alleviated tension that I’d been holding and even gave my baby a treatment! My baby was so relaxed by Dr. McSwain that she fell asleep on the table and came home with a full diaper (after not having one for days). I’m so grateful for both Dr. McSwain and Heather! I would highly recommend Michigan Center for Functional Medicine
