Dr. Ferguson is absolutely amazing. I had my gallbladder removed a little over a week ago and was extremely nervous for surgery. He and all his staff at Lansing surgical associates made me feel safe, comfortable and cared for.

Not by provider but office staff - specifically trying to get diagnostic studies scheduled. Called office several times and left messages with person who schedule's surgery and other procedures and never heard back. I have one hernia, possibly two but will look elsewhere for a provider and staff who can follow through. Should not have to wait as long as I have to get a diagnostic test in order to move forward in getting issues resolved.

Dr. Ferguson was my first surgeon/surgery. I am a dancer that suffered from a sports hernia injury. I felt very confident once meeting with him that I would be handled with care. I would highly recommend him, especially to professional athletes suffering from athletic pubalgia that doesn’t subside with rest.

Last February, Dr. Ferguson pretty much saved my life. I needed a temporary colostomy and, four months later, he performed that surgery too. I was impressed with him both times, and with the care I received from him between the surgeries. He's a really nice guy and a great surgeon, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

He was very rushed and I spent more time with his resident than him. I never saw home postoperatively and he seemed extremely distracted from my visit. I would not recommend Dr Ferguson to anyone. He made me very uncomfortable and undervalued.

Dr Ferguson is professional, knowledgeable, and had a great course of recommended action. I am an RN and my sister who’s an NP helped me select a doctor. He took my concern seriously and was interested in my entire health as a whole, which is always a sign of an excellent doctor. I would absolutely refer my friends and family to this doctor.

My visit with Dr. Ferguson was truly great. He clearly is an expert in the "sports hernia" field. He explained everything clearly and succinctly. From check-in at his office until discharge after surgery everything went just as he explained it would. Since we were not from Lansing, the office staff went out of their way to welcome my wife and I; giving us directions to the hospital and the shortcut back to our hotel. The entire hospital staff was professional, engaging and extremely caring. Dr. Ferguson met me in pre-op and went through everything again, making sure I was well prepared. I would highly recommend Dr. Troy Ferguson to anyone who is suffering from a sports hernia.
