List of Pietro Cavataio Md's Reviews
I highly recommend Dr.Cavitio for lung issues. He has an amazing instinct and he helped me through a long hard illness. He has helped many friends and family members with diverse health problems and I feel very safe with his referrals. I recommend him every chance I get. I am very grateful for his expertise and his passion in our heath care. Thank you Dr. Cavitio and staff.
been a patient with Cavataio for about 11 years seen him once a month and in my experience he was always by the book and im extremely sorry to hear he took a leave of absence and probably won't be returning to phcn.
Dr Cavataio is as intelligent as he is caring. He always is candid enough to get to the bottom of what ails. I appreciate him and his staff more than I could possibly articulate.
Dr Cavatio was my entire families doctor and I've been with him for almost 11 years, 3 surgeries & the death of my sister (45) also his patient. I've just learned from CVS he does not have a license to practice medicine so ALL my medications are null & void ! Stomach meds I've been on for 15 years & more... He leaves abruptly and PHCN practice just DUMPED all his patients! No warning. Then they were rude when I called like it's our fault he's gone ?!? Don't bother with this place now
If I could give 10 stars I WOULD. Dr. Cavataio is so thorough and so caring and best of ALL Dr. Cavataio LISTENS . My Mother is 89 and since we started seeing Dr. Cavataio 4 years ago he has helped my Mother manage her chronic constipation and other issues. He has directed us to other caring specialists. The Staff at the office is ALWAYS helpful and caring. I am so grateful that they pick up the phone on Friday afternoons - and helped by sending me test results that I needed while my Mom was in the hospital. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!
Been seeing Dr. Cavataio as my primary physician since I was a young child. No issues whatsoever in the about 15 years I’ve been seeing him.
Unreal been goin here for 12 years and they would not call in a script for omeprazole and motrin says 6 months since last visit and perfect health...what a scam! If you have free health insurance with no copay guess this is a goldmine...took 3 visits and 3 blood draws to get my handicapped daughters blood work plus countless calls to make sure it got processed with results...guess its come in so we can make money but dont expect results..time for a new doctor this is rediculous!!!
Don’t expect to get Care at this facility anymore. Doctor Cavitaio has left. And for some odd reason, Tara NP. is in charge. And the rude Front office staff, already stated to my husband and I, “ Be prepared to have all your medications changed”! First of all, it is against HIPAA violation for a receptionist to even know what kind of medication you are on, Let alone to rudely tell you that they are all going to be changed! Also she doesn’t give you any refills on your medications. But she wouldn’t be making her money if she didn’t drag you in there every 30 days. Right? I’ll be interested to see what’s the building changes into? Who knows maybe they’ll bring back a Sears! lol. Here’s to Doctor Cavitaio, The one that I owe my life to! Rhonda Wasmund LPN.
Took me in as an urgent care patient, concerned , informative great first impression!
My husband's been a patient of Dr. Cavataio for several years. He always recieved acceptable treatment until this week. Unfortunately, he presented with pains in his chest. He was examined and was told he had inflammation in his chest cavity- the lining of his lungs specifically- from exertion, the good doctor posited. He was prescribed steroids and a mild pain reliever. At work this morning (which happens to be a very labor intensive position) he was still in discomfort and had painful inhalation. He called the office and requested a note for one day from work, but was denied. The staff was rude and snappy with me and accusatory with my husband. We're perplexed and inconvenienced by this interaction. Someone's judgment is questionable at best here, though I suspect there may be some discrimination afoot as well. He will not be returning.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
