I went in to see about a routine vasectomy. I couldn't be believe it when I was told that I would have to get my wife to sign a permission form. I'm not a lawyer, but this seems like a huge violation of HIPAA and patient privacy. Can you imagine if her doctor told my wife that she had to get my permission for a tubal or an IUD? Then they hit me with the $800 price tag AFTER my health insurance. So, my wife went and got a $0, 100% insurance covered tubal where I didn't have to sign anything.

A very knowledgeable doctor. Dr. Gilbert has eased my concerns and was very helpful in the diagnosis of my "condition". He has treated me and I want to thank him!! I would drive from Dayton to see him!

Expect to wait. Last two visits I had to wait over an hour before I got in and a half an hour before he saw me. His problem. He is the only urologist in town and he is over worked. Staff... expect to wait to get appoinments as well.
