They're crooks, read the review below from the person going in for a routine checkup and getting billed for some nonsense (this also happened to me). You shouldn't feel anxious about getting hundreds of dollars in bills for telling the doctor you had a stomach ache during a routine checkup. No tests were ran, nothing just a waste of time really. The healthcare system in this country is a mess and doctors like this sow distrust about the medical community among the public.

Dr. DeSouza has been my PCP for many years. I always feel heard, he always helps. I have referred many to him, and they all agree.

Dr Desouza is an exceptional doctor who is very knowledgeable and compassionate. He always listens to my concerns and explains everything thoroughly. Never rushes me out. Best doctor ever.

Best doctor ever! Allows me to be proactive with my health issues.

I went there a few weeks ago. Doctor Desouza seemed knowledgeable but also in a hurry because I felt rushed. In fact a few things happened that made me question this office: I went there for my annual physical as a NEW PATIENT, and I did not even get a physical. No blood test, nothing. On my way out, when I asked for one, they said this office does not operate this way, and If I wanted a physical I should have asked for one when i made the appointment... Really? So, as a new patient, how does my new doctor know my health history without giving me a physical? In 20 years this is definitely a first. When I told the nurse I really wanted one, she said she would look into it with her manager, and they would call me back. Shortly after the nurse called me to say: 'by the way, we are going to bill you for your visit because you told the doctor you have digestive issues'. I was at a loss for words. When he walked in, and saw me for the first time, the doc asked me right away: Tell me about your health. So I told him I feel fine but have stomach aches sometimes. This is the type of discussion you have when you go see your doctor. And this visit, once a year, is covered by my insurance at no extra cost. Of course the supervisor never called. I have tried to reach the doctor several times ... but he doesn't return his calls. I wish I could report this office somehow, because what they are doing is wrong... some might even consider it as fraud.

Dr. Desouza is the most awesome doctor of all time. I have been his patient for 37 years!!!!!

Dr. Derek Desouza, has always allowed me to ask him a question at the hospital and if he could not give me the time or the information I needed he would let me know I needed to make an appointment. He always has a smile for you. He explains everything about his diagnose. I always appreciated him letting me know about how long it would take an illness to improve, and when he needed to see me back in the office.

Dr. Desouza (1) Is on time for his appointments, (2) spends time with me and is not rushed, and (3) explains everything he is doing and talking about. I highly recommend him.

I have been with Dr. De Souza for many years. He makes me feel comfortable and confident with any issues that I bring up. I appreciate that he lets me explain what is wrong without feeling rushed and is not too aggressive but just aggressive enough. I feel that we talk about issues together and come up with a plan together. He is a wonderful doctor and I would recommend him to anyone.
