I’m sad I don’t live in the area anymore, I haven’t found an ophthalmologist I like as much as I liked Dr Lupovitch! I respected and appreciated his critical thinking and listening skills and he doesn’t mind patient questions (and I always have a lot). I never leave provider reviews but that one star review below was the exact opposite of my experience so I wanted to say something. Now the billing department here…..it’s been a few years but they consistently billed me incorrectly and caused a lot of grief - it’s not just be me, my family comes here too and all of us joke about how much we must love Dr Lupovitch as we keep coming back despite having to put up with that billing staff!

Dr. Lupovitch is great. I would see no other doctor for my eye exams. He did my cataract surgery and the experience was wonderful. I even said that I almost wish I had a third eye so I could do it one more time. Dr Lupovitch answered all my question, and I had many, and never showed any impatience, but was always concerned with my comfort and well being. As for the comment someone left that they collect for things they know the insurance pays, I have never had that problem. I have been going to (and sending my family to) Livonia Ophthalmologists for nearly 30 years and have always had a great experience.

Dr. Lupovitch is a skilled and excellent ophthalmologist. You know that you are being given the very best. I have been a patient for over 15 years and would not go anywhere else. Thank you for the care you take with each patient.

Dr Lupovitch is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor. He spends all the time you need and explains everything very well. He is also a very good surgeon - I have know many people who have had excellent results for cataract surgery.

They collect in advance for items that they KNOW will be covered by insurance. They Don't automatically issue refunds. How many people realize and ask for a refund, I know of only one. What a way to steal and get away with it.

My sense and experience is that Dr. Lupovitch is a very personable and qualified ophthalmologist . In the past I have had surgery for macular hole and cataracts. I have always felt that I had the best of care in both surgeries and aftercare. I have recommended Dr. Lupovitch to members of my family enthusiastically. Gail Soave
