I love that he truly listens.
I’m 66 and just went on Medicare last year and last seen Dr. Erickson Jan, 2021. Since office changed to Village couple month before Jun, 2022 I can’t see Dr. Erickson he’s a specialist now (he is in my insurance group still but would have to pay $35.00 co-pay for specialist) and I didn’t know it change so couldn’t see him June 16, 2022 appt., so I’m out of depression medication just quick taking abruptly which is not good. Does anyone know of great doctor in Livonia who is primary doctor and not Title of Specialist? This is terrible……
Staff is fast and friendly. Dr Erickson is an excellent doctor. Dr Erickson listens and addresses all concerns/symptoms. Would highly recommend Dr Erickson!
He was condescending and rude when I requested a second opinion on my injury. He wouldn't give me a referral to a in network specialist simply saying "we dont treat your type of injury" . The specialist he sent me to didn't even look at my ultrasound report before giving his prognosis of basically no treatment. No physical therapy ,not even a nutrition supplement suggestion, then I see all the bad ...

The specialist he sent me to didn't even look at my ultrasound report before giving his prognosis of basically no treatment. No physical therapy ,not even a nutrition supplement suggestion, then I see all the bad reviews this orthopedic Dr has that im seeing that I was sent to. Of course I want a second opinion. I'm a arborist and depend on my physical strength and want to be certain I dont need a surgical repair. I got no help and no referral as soon as I wanted to see a specialist that I chose and not their circle of Doctors even though my insurance said I have the right to see this doctor he wouldn't give me the referral . After today I feel making money is the main priority at Livonia Family Physicians ,STAY AWAY U CAN DO BETTER

Dr. Erickson is amazing! His soft spoken professional approach is always comforting and reassuring. He has gone beyond the norm for me. I would refer him to anyone looking for a great doctor.
Love Dr Erickson!! He listens and takes what you have to say into consideration. I actually was taking my mother to another doctor in the office and she was seen by him and I made the change after that visit for both of us. He seems on top of it!!
After 3 years of having him as my doctor, enough is enough. He performs no hands-on examinations, doesn't check your abdomen or organs, legs or feet to see if there is an issue...not even at your annual. Always in a hurry to get out the door. His lack of interest in your health condition speaks volumes. No callbacks from him or his staff on blood work or test results. And when I have called, I get no return calls. Getting a prescription refill is a joke. I'm still waiting on a prescription that was faxed over from my pharmacy twice and it's been over 2 weeks. My advice? Move on and find a doctor that truly has YOUR best interest and health at heart.
Dr. Erickson is by far the best doctor. He truly cares about his patients and is very through with any problems you have. I randomly chose Dr. Erickson as my doctor . Since my company told me I had to make a decision on a doctor. I'm so happy I went with him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
