Susan Stevens's Online Review Report Card

I was very disappointed twice when we needed dr Susan help in critical medical referral she refused to support us. Most disappointing part is she mentioned that she can only help in critical medical situation and didn’t consider cancer and aphasia are critical medical situations. Above all the fact she makes exception for certain medical need cases makes you wonder if she is true care dr.

Does not listen nor does she care. Does not want to give referrals when needed. Be careful don’t stick around too long if you are not getting help or made to feel it’s in your head. Could be serious like what happened to me. She is not a very good doctor. Staff is rude.

Made an appointment 3 weeks ago, was told they take my insurance and was covered and they were taking new patients. I showed up and was set up for a completely different doctor not even in that office, then told they don’t take my insurance and they aren’t taking new patients. When I told them the person I talked to said everything was fine all I got was, “that was our new girl, sorry about that” Wouldn’t recommend.

They told me on the phone they will not see you if you don't have insurance, so much for helping people, all she's worried about is making money. Truly sad

Dr. Stevens is a fantastic family physician! She’s very caring, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond for her patients. I have sent family to see her. I highly recommend you chose her as your primary care doctor too

Ive had some great 5 star experiences at this office. Ive also had some 2 star service as well. I have not ever been to a doctor that has been consistently 4 star. That being said, this is a teaching doctor so if you're shy this may not be a good fit. But they are caring, knowledgeable, and not alarmists. She was the first to find my cancer and send me to the hospital.

I do not recommend this doctor. She was my doctor for years, but as an adult I discovered she is incompetent. I had a severe allergic reaction to medication that landed me in urgent care 2 times in one week. I had hives all over my body, and my hands swelled to the point I could barely make a fist. I had 4 different doctors/nurses in the urgent care tell me it was an allergic reaction and I should see an allergist. When I went to see her for a follow-up appt. she said "Hives are not an allergic reaction, you don't need an allergist" dismissing the advice of the other 4 doctors/nurses. When she was preparing me for an IUD, she measured my uterus to be the size of a toddler (I'm 27) and was not concerned. She simply said, "you have a small Uterus." After speaking to an OBGYN for a second opinion she suggested to investigate this because if that was the case I have a medical issue that needs addressed, and she could not believe this was dismissed. My Uterus is fine, she measured wrong.

Not a very good primary doctor at all! Does not listen to you about symptoms even when you cry that something serious is wrong with you. Let me suffer for three years as I listened to her not listening to me. Which caused to me to have other serious problems, just kept getting sicker. I learned a very important lesson you have to be your own advocate. Even though they go to school their knowledge is very basic. I had a very serious diagnosis by another doctor that got me in for a serious procedure within three days of hearing my symptoms. You also have to go to her group doctors or they threaten to dump you. That was it for me. She caused a lot of damage with my health by not treating my symptoms by not listening. When a doctor can’t or chooses not to do anything then they say it’s mental. Tell my heart that.

Terrible Doctor! Does not listen to you and shows a lack of interest. Had very serious health issues made me feel it was in my head until I got another doctor and found out different had to have surgeries and took a long time to recover from damage she helped create by not treating me correctly!

Dr. Stevens has been my doctor for several years. She is very knowledgeable, takes the times to answer my questions, and is very thorough. I never have to wait long in her office. Now that it is during the time of corona virus you wait in your car until it is your turn.
