Anthony Lee's Online Review Report Card

I have had 2 brain surgeries and on the first visit he wanted an eeg done. When he walked in his first words to me were what are you here for. He obviously didn't read the medical records from my other drs. . He only did one coordination test. He didn't check my eyes or finger to nose check.

I have been with Dr. Lee over 2 years and he has helped get my MS under control and he takes his time and listens instead of just judging you like most Dr

i have severe head trauama, Dr lee is a very smart and logical person, it took alot of tries to get my quality of life back with different things but he has very much helped me and i apologize to anyone that waited to long im sure i have put him in awkward position of taking to long because of my brain damage, to my knowledge he is a brain doctor he will only fill those meds not ur primary care meds which makes sense,

He's been my neurologist for over a year now and I've only seen him twice! The 1st app. w/ him he suggested an EEG, which I denied because I had done w/ my old doctor in PHX less than a year ago. My seizures increased so Lee, who I didn't even get a chance to talk to, relayed a message to a nurse over the phone, telling me to go to the Emergency Room if I had another seizure! They'd just send me back to my neurologist... Dr. Lee. Now I'm in the process of looking for a better neurologist. SMH

Dr Lee and his staff were great. The group hospital Dr was going to release me when I questioned about the pain in my neck in shoulders. He had totally phased out that, yes I'd lost memory, but I'd also hit my head on the roof of my truck in a front in collision with another vehicle. Dr Lee's PA came in and got things rolling and then I saw Dr lee in the Hospital and his office. I couldn't have been more pleased. PT went great as well!

He was very quick, did not take time to actually listen to my history or symptoms. He made me feel rushed so I lied and told him everything was fine because he kept looking at his watch. I then had hallucinations and dissociation after he doubled my seizure medication and his response was to go to my psychiatrist because it was likely those meds doing it. I have been on those medications for years. I never had hallucinations or dissociation until dr lee doubled my dose. this was never resolved.

Really concerns me that he has treated me for a couple of years and doesn't know my conditions. Always ask me what I think but doesn't follow through with my thoughts of what I think. He's the doctor why even ask me if you have no intentions of listening. Didn't even know why I made the appointment.. I've been out of work for 3 years because of epilepsy. Needed a document stating he was treating me for epilepsy, he completely went 180° and even wrote something completely inaccurate of my health. Didn't even recognized that I had seizures said I have headaches and generalized shaking at night. Excuse me anybody knows me seen me have seizures anytime of the day or night. After 2 years he says no after I been treated for epilepsy since January 2012 diagnosed by my other Dr and neurologist before I moved to Kalamazoo. Just wowed by this...reporting and finding a new Dr.

Lacked knowledge of overall diagnosis and didn't consult prior medical records regarding treatments previously pursued. Yet, he insisted on irrelevant referrals and medications previously pursued with negative outcomes.

I have physical symptoms characteristic of nerve problems such as numbness, tingling, and burning pain,tremors, to name a few. When standard tests showed no tumor or lesions, Dr. Lee in my opinion, seemed unconcerned about getting to the cause and seemed to assume it is all mental. He mades referrals, but then the specialists had no contact from Dr. Lee and so had no idea why I was being referred. This happened twice. I also pointed out major errors in my record which were not corrected. Follow-through is poor and compassionate interest in my opinion.

Staff and doctors did NOT communicate. Could not get anyone on the phone to help me understand why I needed to undergo a lumbar puncture afterMRI. Was basically just told I needed to do it. I went through all the steps then received minimal information and had to wait 3 weeks for my next appointment to talk to anyone. Nobody would answer the phone or COMMUNICATE with me. When my husband got frustrated on my behalf and raised a fuss I finally heard from dr lee, who spent half the phone call chastising me for demanding someone talk to me. He says this takes time away from other patients, "not that you would care about that" he said. I'm sorry that wanting to talk to SOMEONE was inconvenient got him, although I thought I was his patient, and I got zero time with him over 3 weeks, over MRI and lumbar puncture, NO communication. My symptoms were getting worse and his meds weren't helping, and all I got was a very RUDE phone call talking to me in a condescending manner. I am switching docs!
