Kathryn Young's Online Review Report Card

I have nothing but great things to say about this office. They seem to be very cautious and cover all bases for my pregnancy. This is my first pregnancy and I have nobody to compare Dr. Young too. But I get excited for my appointments. I had Covid and called and got all my medicines sent to my pharmacy with absolutely no problem at all. I have had heavy breathing since Covid so she is getting me with a specialist to look deeper. I am very pleased and excited that I have a great team behind me when I deliver my daughter.

If you want to be somebody’s puppet this is the place for you! I decided to try this office because my original OB retired who was absolutely amazing, I was looking for someone as amazing as him and this location was more convenient. My mind was blown after the experience I had here and I have never met a more incompetent medical practice. The only good thing about the medical staff was the ultrasound tech who was extremely kind. Other than that, it is the worst, most rude, disrespectful, and most unprofessional. I work with livestock and care for and deliver hundreds of babies each year giving them better care and compassion. I would not even let them care for my animals. She nor her np would answer or explain any questions I had. The nurses would never call back after they were supposed to discuss my questions. So I talked to my endocrinologist doctor that specializes in pregnancy and whom I trust since I was not getting the calls back I was promised. I have no problem doing what they say if they are willing to explain and give reason other than “because I say so” and “my patients are going to do what I say”. She even said I was lying about the timing of my last menstrual cycle and the np said “this baby is just going to be huge because of your diabetes”. Actually, high glucose is what causes large babies in diabetics, not type 1 diabetes, and I do not and have not had high glucose, with records to prove it. So, if the baby is “huge” it’s genetics. The ultrasound tech said from my last menstruel cycle the baby’s size was perfect. The np even questioned my husband and I on if the pregnancy was planned, giving obvious hints that it should not have been in her opinion. I am very tightly controlled with an a1c between 4.9 - 5.1, better than my healthy non diabetic husbands and many health professionals I know. All three of my team of doctors before gave me the approval if we wanted to have kids, with no concerns at all. I did not want to come back after the first appointment and the second appointment decided I was definitely in better hands anywhere but there. And as she said “I have a mile long list of patients waiting to see me anyways”

Pushy and rude. My whole experience with the office was extremely off putting. Dr and staff alike seemed determined to intervene in a perfectly healthy pregnancy. Even suggesting I just get induced at 39 weeks simply because my doctor was out of town for my 40 week appointment. Then spent my whole appointment being completely hostile at times to extremely discouraging. I wouldn’t go back there if she was the last doctor on Earth. After she ultimately delivered my second child, I ended up back in the hospital at 10 days because I had retained placenta.

I just switched doctors. She is very experienced and personable. I will continue to see her and highly recommend her.

My doctors sent this office a referral December 15. I hear nothing from this office. I called them January 3rd . Gave them my info, the office person acted confused and transferred me to the referral "specalist" I had to explain who I was again and after a while of looking said they never received anything. (I did verify with my doctors that it was sent prior to calling) I told the "specalist" that I think I would find another place if this is how they handel a simple referral. . The "specalist said "good!" And hung up. What is this place? Some back alley clinic that hires strung out staff? Good grief.

Dr. Young is a great person and a great Dr. in my opinion

Dr. Young is a great Dr. she is caring, compassionate and is very knowledgeable on my questions she also is a great person

Awful experience she should have her license ripped from her.

She and her staff are amazing!

She is a good Doctor!
