I only saw him when he did my surgery.
This man is a lifesaver my hero, Went to hospital with back pain, found infected spine and disc, further checking st Jude aortic valve, found baseball size aneurysm on my aorta. Dr collar spent close to13 hours on me. On sept 17, 2019 and I’m here today thanks to him, Oh and doc if you read this I ve got the jeep, You keep me going. And i’ll keep your jeep going ! I cannot thank you enough sincerely Tom erickson
I found this doctor difficult to deal with. With a Torn Aorta, this doctor said he must to a catherization prior to surgery to fix the torn Aorta. You cannot do a catherization on a patient with a torn Aorta, but he insisted he must before surgery, when I agreed, the catheradation was "Attempted" but was not done because the patient condition would not allow it - that was known before the attempt but he had to attempt? Complications from the surgery were infections of the sternum wires, even though the doctor took a sample of the infection fluid, he never tested them and I had to receive treatment from my dermatologist that I had an appointment to see right after seeing this doctor. Upon surgery to fix the infected sternum wires the doctor stated all three wires would be removed and I would stay in the hospital for a couple days after surgery, but only One wire was removed and I was sent home not knowing why the diagnosis and discussed treatment had been changed. I never felt this doctor listened to me or ever approached me as a patient he cared about.
He was compassionat and proffesional. has an excellent reputation and trated me like a person not a disease!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
