I had a cataract removed about 1.5 years ago and have been hesitant to leave a review but feel that I must now. The surgery went along quite well and the facilities are top notch. I was treated well by the staff at all times. I issue has been that they did not discuss options but made a decision about my body without discussing with me. During a follow up I was told that the particular lens that they used was one that would be easier to work on if complications arose at a later date. As a result my eyesight is worse than it was before the surgery in that I now must have eyeglasses and my depth of focus is quite limiting without bifocals. I do a lot of close up work and there was a lens that could have been used to five me much better close up views without glasses. Overall I suggest asking question and knowing exactly what can be done rather than having them make choices for you. I could have a follow up surgery but was told by them that they would not do that and I would need to find another surgeon.
