Kym Gohn's Online Review Report Card

Only reason for the two stars is because I absolutely love Dr. Gohn, she delivered my last son a year in a half ago and she was phenomenal but I had problems with the appointments and the rude receptionist- no biggie. This time around getting pregnant they told me over the phone my appointment was at 1:30 I showed up at 1:20 and they wouldn’t see me because they said my appointment was for 1! - even if that was so .. it was only 20 minutes! I would have still been in the waiting room honestly! And they refused to see me and I just drove 40 minutes to get there! I’ve been extremely sick and still haven’t got in for my first appointment to talk to anyone due to this and I’m 9 weeks pregnant! Not to mention they had me scheduled for 3 different appointments in a two weeks span! One for intake, one for ultrasound and one to see Dr. Gohn! How crazy is that. If she got a new receptionist I would definitely go back! But not while the 30 something year old brown hair girl is still working there!!! She’s beyond RUDE - I took my pregnancy elsewhere. To a place a bit more caring!

Very dissatisfied with the last visit. I never once got to speak to or see the doctor. The tech was very pleasant.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gohn for 7+ years. I appreciate her open way of conversing. She is proactive with out rushing. Six days ago she performed a total hysterectomy, bilateral salpingectomy & cystoscopy on me. I am beyond thankful she performed my surgery. I have very little pain, no bruising and no complications. Her follow up after surgery was very detailed & personable.

Dr. Gohn performed a laprascopic surgery on me to remove endometriosis. I didn't get to see Dr. Gohn at all that day. After surgery, my nurse and the anesthesiologist wanted to admit me because I hadn't been able to urinate after surgery. Dr. Gohn refused. The nurse apologized and recommended I come back to the ER. I did have to come back and have 300ml of urine drained. Less than a week later, I was back for a 3 day hospital stay with an abscess that had to be surgically drained. Dr. Gohn told me almost nothing about what had been done in my surgery and my pain never lessened. I had this same surgery done a few years prior by a qualified doctor and my pain was gone for years. I DO NOT recommend her to anyone suffering from endometriosis. Please find another doctor to perform this surgery.

A year later the endometriosis came back so i went back to see doctor Gohn and then she recomended i have a total hysterectomy so it was scheduled and during that surgery my bowel was nicked and i ended up developing a abcess and fistula. After that i had to have major surgery to have the abcess and fistula fixed. I got horribly sick and ebded up in and out of A another hospital locally, where they finally gave me the surgery to correct the mistake. Now i will have IBS for the rest of my life.

Wonderful Dr. Very patient and excellent bed side manner.
